You did a great job with them :)
Thank you! I just changed again haha. I got new eyes made for all the werewolves and such from teen wolf so I gotta play with them haha.
Yeah, it makes for an enjoyable time for once haha. I like your new HA as well.
enjoyable times are good. My surgery for the right leg is on next Wednesday
I'm glad they have a date for you and I hope it goes smoothly and that your recovery goes much easier on you hugs
I can imagine hugs
Well....I'm alive and I haven't gone bankrupt yet but we're heading that way. Car has been in and out of the shop as they try to pinpoint what the hell is wrong with it and my mechanic finally told me he wants me to take it to the dealership because they'll do better and he doesn't want to keep playing hunt and find on the car and having me spend tons of money. He also told me to report my previous mechanic to the Bureau of Automotive Repair event though he pretty much never tells anyone to do that because he's very firm that I have a good case and he thinks they really screwed me.
How are you doing? Are you nervous for tomorrow?
oh man that's terrible. I hope you can get it sorted out. I typically took mine to the dealership as I didn't get sales pitches or random patches that I don't necessarily trust. I'm really sorry about it all. -hugs-
Surgery was pretty unfun and painful in several points. He wound up having to do an extra surgery on it and my leg is not overly happy. But it's not too much pain at the moment. I've been taking the narcotics as I was told so that's probably why. Now I'm watching Jurassic Park and doing a latch hook.
Dad had to take Annie to the vet today as we thought she had a cold or something. I had to talk to the vet over the phone. I think it went well. But we have two cats to look forward to medicating as Carmen also had the same signs. She thinks it's allergies. Unfortunately it wasn't cheap ($205) and Carmen spilt 3/4 of the medication so we'll have to go back and buy some more -sighs-
I've found out more and more people I know have been to the bad mechanic and had some of the same bs spun on them and attempts to get them to fix problems that weren't problems. Car is with the dealer right now and I probably won't hear anything until Saturday they said, but once it's sorted I'll be making a report with the state bureau against the bad place. I have copies of all of my receipts thankfully since I'm a stickler for hanging onto those - with luck they'll find in my favor and maybe I'll get some of my money back to offset all these other repairs I've had to do.
I'm sorry it hurt to have the surgery done but I'm glad the painkillers they gave you are helping with the after pain. And that you're able to relax a bit and enjoy the movie and knitting. I am sorry about the kitties though and the high med costs. Hopefully you won't have too much trouble soon.
I wish you all the luck.
Eh the painkillers suck. I'm still in pain and I feel terrible with the medication. Nauseous, dizzy, pounding headache, and slightly detached. I think I'll call in the morning and ask for something else because I'm miserable. I even refused to take them for the first two days after my surgery but sadly, by Friday was in so much pain I had no choice. I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't.
So the lines going to the intake manifold (replaced by the bad mechanic second shop after the first shop punctured an oil line) are crushed and that was during install. Hopefully that solves it. They also told me the water pump is leaking even tho that's what bad mechanic shop 1 replaced and supposedly bad mechanic shop 2 checked their work or also did a replacement - idk. I can't afford to replace it at the dealer price so they're just doing the crushed lines to the manifold and the alignment and oil change I needed. I'll take it back to my good mechanic and see if it's actually leaking and if so what it would cost through them. The dealer wanted $1700 to change it even tho it should only cost around $800 max.
And I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with the pain killers, I hope they can provide you something with less side effects.
My mechanic replaced the water pump for about $725 which is less than half of what the dealership wanted, so that helped. So far the car seems okay.
And I'm sorry you had to go without the pain killers :/
