: I'm OK. It's the busy season here at Healer's Hall. We had the Spring rush of newborns and all the aches and pains of the planting season. The youth are bruising themselves and breaking things as they play outside. The flooding of the local streams and rivers from all the snow this winter continues, but we small animals are well trained to stay away and so no tragedies to report. It's a very green and busy Spring.

Keep my Author in your prayers, He was diagnosed with A-fib two weeks ago and he is to have electrocardioversion on Tuesday at the hospital in Fresno. He's nervous. And somewhat confused, his heart is actually in very good shape. Echocardiogram, Nuclear Stress Test, Calcium Test all came back with stellar reports saying that his heart shows no signs of disease. However, He did have COVID last April and the doctors are convinced that the A-fib was caused by COVID. Anyway, he is now on blood thinners to prevent stroke, amiodorone to regulate the A-fib, water pills to prevent water retention and potassium to prevent electrolyte imbalance caused by peeing so much. He said, "I now know that I'm officially old by the numbers of pills I'm taking." He makes bad jokes when he's nervous.

I have been busy planting gladiolus flowers, and moved some of my calla lilies. Plus I am on my 2nd puzzle with 3,000 pieces in it. So keeping myself busy which is good for me.

I had the same tests except the calcium test, I was diagnosed with Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) which is a heart rhythm disorder that originates in the heart’s upper chambers, called the atria. Which makes my heart beat irregular, I was diagnosed last August. I am on medicine to regulate heart beat daily. I am like Authur getting old, LOL. Which is okay I go by my mental age its more fun. Darn Covid affecting people in different ways, its like "hey I got you sick, but here is a reminder from me (covid)." The fact that Arthur is being proactive is a big plus in taking care of his heart. Both my parents had heart issues, so when my heart started beating irregular I had my primary care dr refer me to a cardiologist. So I see the cardiologist, and will continue to for my peace of mind.

- thank you for the update on your author. It does sound scary but sounds like he is covering all bases. Dang that covid...that it can have different lingering effects is just maddening...like it wasn't bad enough just to get it. Feeling irrationally angry about that right now. - gosh when these things happen we learn all kinds of words we never knew before. No wonder doctors are in college so long...just learning the vocab alone would take forever. I agree with you, the mental age is much more fun :)
