I guess I should have mentioned that dude didn't even get hurt except he hert his knee r u f ing joking he hits the wall at 230 mph yes let me repeat that 230 mph after he flips upside with his head inches from the ground and the wall and all he has is a hurt knee plus his tire broke off the flew through the air over the top of the safety fence and landed on a roof just on the other side of where fans were sitting

Oh he got a boo boo on his leg, dang it could have been worse. Because he was way to close to the ground with his head and shoulders. Dangerous career thats for sure.

I do watch formula 1 racing although do not have many wrecks they do get in some pretty good situations too racing is racing my favorite is dirt tracks and we have one in Kentucky (what did u expect from a bunch of hillbillies lol)right up the road

- wow! That was crazy ... and the view from inside his car. It's amazing he was able to walk away from that, And amazing that tire went over the crowds .... that could have taken out a lot of people.

I've seen tire and other parts of cars flying off the cars and killing people especially those really old races from the 70s and 80s holy cow were those crazy days

in F1 they made the wheel/tires tethered to the car, doesn't always work but like 90% of the time. Sounds like they need something like that.

- they mentioned the tethers on the news and in the video. You could see it worked for one tire but not the other. I guess at those speeds there is nothing that is 100% effective.

- I remember those days as well. The safety and enhancements they have made over the years is amazing. I don’t follow car racing but since we are fairly close to Daytona we hear about the safety enhancements often.
