Oh man!! Wild weather yesss Glad yall are safe!! We basically stayed indoors if there were wild weather outside. For tornadoes we will run down to the basement, but there are never really any tornadoes here!

Safe from what? From bears? I dont go in the woods. From aliens? I dont go outside after dark. From vampires? I eat LOTS of garlic.

Mine have not played the new tracks yet, mine friends couldn't stay long enough to try. Mine is more intrigued by who the new characters would be. Zo, mine will wait a little more.

: My Author remembers Tahoe in the 1960s and 1970s when he lived in Lodi. There was one year where the drifts along the freeway were so tall that it looked like driving in a canyon. They had to enter the ski lodge through the second story windows. Riding the chair lift was like that scene in StarWars. That's what this winter seems like this year.

: Several creeks in the area were near flood stage, but quickly subsided. We still have lots of snow, only it's turned to ice, not fluff.

: We stay inside, it's the safest. We're too high for tornadoes. Fire is the only real threat and we practice evacuation drills. We dry, store and rotate stock of massive quantities of water, food and supplies in the event of natural disaster. Mark's girls chase storms. (LOL)

: Very Funny! You have vampires in your village? I would move if I were you...vampires are like spiders...Scary! We don't have aliens, but I know some people who have seen their vehicles. They seem to be attracted to vast quantities of alcohol. The more you drink the more you see them...Bears aren't all that bad. All they want is somebody to sing them a song or tell them a story. They like Lord Of The Rings.

HAHA then you must be safe Well then you are super prepared, and I dont have to worry so much about you. Same here i stay in, if it rains or snows. because most people here weren't exposed to weather conditions , here they are challenged by sunshine and a bend in the road. I learned to drive in snow, so no challenge for me.

: As prepared as we are here at Healer's Hall, it's so easy to be complacent. It's always good to have somebody like my Subeta friends check in on me. It keeps me on my toes...which are nice and toasty by the fire.

Yup, the winter here always snows so we had to learn to drive in the snow, if we have to go out. We tend to stay in when it's icy on the road, this happens when the temperature was pretty high but then it drops down to near 0C very fast, so when it was raining, the rain turned to ice, aka freezing rain >< We had quite a lot of this weather this year D: The bit of warmth and rain was a yay but then when it drops down to 0C and the rain becomes freezing rain it's a nay >.>

eww, yea ice is the worst, like especially on the roads D: Stay safe again!!

What do you all do for the Feast of Saint Patrick? We are not Irish (mainly Black Forest Germany descent) but we feel it is important to recognize and celebrate Ireland and its culture in a meaningful way by honoring its patron saint. We celebrate by wearing green clothing, gathering with family and friends, playing music, eating good foods, dancing (and perhaps a little flirting) and kicking up one's heals. It is, after all, the first celebration after the new year in anticipation of the coming Spring. Of course there will be stout ales and Poppy will break out the fine whiskeys that he makes for the older adults. But all is done with respect and dignity for our Irish friends. Thank the Maker that tomorrow is Saturday, for there will be many young adult who will necessarily need some attention at Healer's Hall for splitting headaches, queasy tummies, and other hangover remedies (like a friendly word of advice, a kindly hug and tender kiss on the cheek) that only a Master Healer can give to the overindulgent.
