Its was a relief, I didnt want to go to the VA. Because i would have had to wait until winds calm down, I have to take a freeway to get there and not a fan of being on a highway that goes over other parts of the freeway in high winds.

High desert or low? What do you consider freezing? I know I consider anything lower than 70 as getting cold.

I think low desert . It has been in the mid 30s at night and 40s during the day and the winds last week were 50mph. This is so cold for Arizona Phoenix metro area. Mountains yes and snow on the superstitions and Dutchmans which hardly every happens... Anyway...Brrrrrrrrrr

If she's still hesitant with food, perhaps trying some pate canned food? I know there are some cheaper brands of it and it might be easier on a sensitive mouth. I mention because one of our cats prefers it ever since she fell asleep in a window and rolled out, hitting and chipping one of her teeth on the way down.
Though certain flavors of canned food are not for all cats.. The stray my dad took in can be particularly picky. He lived off birds and mice when younger (and still does occasionally), but my dad gives him some canned food (with his kibble in another bowl) to try and keep his eyes off the songbirds my mom likes. Being used to Fresh meat, I guess he smells something about certain brands? But he loves the juice of non-pate and is picky about flavors (oddly does not like certain fish or duck..).

No worries, I am sure if it hadn't happen to me, and I saw it I would have laughed, too. Thankfully I have hard head, the bow on my glasses bent slightly. I am just gad my glasses werent broken.

I'm trying to get her back to eating her kibble. I can't afford to just go out and buy more dog food willynilly.

Yep, I live in Texas. We do have big houses here, but you have to be in the rich part of town. Mine is only 1200 sq. ft. with two bedrooms.

Yes I am 15 minutes from Juarez, Mexico border, here in Texas. I have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath and nice back yard. Yep I agree with KimC the mansions are on the other side of town. But I do love my neighborhood. Well hope Coco takes her meds without any difficulty.
