Honestly way too much work to put into place when there are other bugs and site issues that need to be addressed first and foremost. We only have one coder who's already doing all that they can on game breaking issues. This would use too many resources and time that I don't think the consensus here would even consider..

Honestly, season passes are getting to have something of a bad rep, specifically for being sleazy. Just look at OW2. I agree that there needs to be either physical merch or some kind of thing for revenue, but this may not be the right method.

I like how thorough your post is tho, OP, it tickles my sensibilities of coming up with a plan. Maybe you can utilize that idea to start a forum group or something! I think the daily challenges could be fun, for small prizes or points or something.

Yoo this is a great idea. I sell stuff on Redbubble and it's so easy to use. Redbubble also doesn't take a percentage, rather there's a base cost to the item and any markup on that item goes to the artist. This would definitely be a better idea, could even turn some Subeta stickers into irl stickers...

It's one of the worst parts of modern gaming - creating a sense of FOMO so you feel like you have to play a game just so you don't lose out on limited time things. When games do that too much I drop them because they just feel like a chore.

I like the idea of Subeta selling some merch through third party vendors to offset the costs (stickers, stationery, etc.) but a season pass and other predatory game mechanics would make me - and a lot of other players - leave.

HELL NO. I'm so tired of battlepasses in other games. Petsites like Subeta don't need these. They're just extremely predatory. Now how about suggesting lootboxes for 1000 CSC each with a 0.01% chance at the item you actually want?

This is such a bad idea. It's predatory and frustrating to deal with because you start to feel like you're missing out. I've been on here for fourteen years and one of my favorite things is the lack of subscription based stuff.

Sorry, but no support to a paid battlepass. A battlepass, to me at least, should stay with actual games. Subeta is something more laidback, imo. I don't think people would really go for this because there is already games (Genshin, Fortnite, COD, etc.) with this already implemented and people would probably choose to buy a battlepass on those rather than Subeta, honestly.

NOW, like others have already mentioned, I would much rather Subeta find a way to get actual merchandise out there. (It's also advertising, lol) I REALLY WANT PLUSHIES. But stickers are also something that seems very doable. I feel like that would be a better way to help support the site and getting something really cute in return. c:
