I totally crushed on Hyun Bin as Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok in the K-drama Crash Landing on You. He's married to his co-star Son Ye-jin now, and they have a baby too. I love them together!

Star Trek fan, so probably no surprise... Anson Mount. There is just something about him.

John Constantine/Matt Ryan

I know I'm a broken record but my 'fantasy' crush is John Constantine and no I can not explain it. He's notoriously a selfish bastard and constant screw up but so help me I love him with every fiber of my being.

I do my best to keep 'fantasy' crushes to the characters but I'd be lying if I said after all this time it hasn't slid at least a bit into that Welsh actor man, Matt Ryan as well. Who from what I've heard is an absolute cinnamon roll and super sweet to fans. Not to mention a dedicated and incredibly talented actor. I just love the way his whole face melts into his smile, no wonder he has such wonderful eye crinkle. And he is Constantine fan number one, I absolutely adore how passionate and nerdy he is about John. Look at that ray of sunshine! You have no idea the self restraint it's taking to go with just 'three' pictures. Just ask Starr she's been putting up with my 'hey look at this picture of him' for months. And I realize he is on very real level a 'just some guy' looking kinda man but I'm so far down this rabbit hole - it's the best face in the world to me.

Oh I've been a fan of Anson since Hell of Wheels, he was so sexy in that!

And you know I adore our boy Jensen. He's another one of those guys that whenever you hear a story about him it's about how sweet and kind he is and how wonderful he is to work with. Not to mention there is no bigger Dean fan than Jensen and I just love that. Hey wanna see our boys holding kangaroos? (See? See? Week 2 Contest: Everybody Loves A Villian: Tuesday 2/7 to Monday 2/13

Sometimes the hero of the story is... well dull. Sometimes what makes the story great is quite the opposite, it's the villain or Anti-Hero. They say if you live long enough you become the villain. For this week I would like for you to post the villain(s) & or Anti-Hero(s) you love and tell me why? Because let us be honest sometimes it feels right to feel so wrong.

My Example:

One Of Each MCU's Loki You all know by now my mythos love so yes Marvel Universe's version of Loki is well, not exactly correct. But that doesn't stop me from loving the version they created. Green, Gold, Black and Bada.... Yea you get it. While he did eventually become an Anti-hero (Some would even say hero but that's stretching it for me) he is my favorite villain.

Billy Butcher While yes The Boys does kinda flip the whole bad guy vs good guy well more than 360, Billy is in fact an Anti-Hero. While he was at first seeking answers it eventually turns into revenge and then just hatred. But sometimes they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. (No spoilers lol)

My first embarrassing villain crush: Magneto from the X-Men. I'm going to skip the white hair/so cool of Magneto (Erik Lehnsherr) and say I fell in love with his character way back in the late 80s. Before Michael Fassbender played a freakin' hunk-a-chunk Magneto. Anyway... His story is so sad and poignant. He is born into post WW 1 Jewish family in Poland. As a early teen, his family is rounded up into the Warsaw ghetto, later to be sent to a death camp. He escapes, though all his other family dies. He's later re-captured and sent to Auschwitz. If you don't know anything else about Holocaust history, you should know that that particular camp had one of the highest kill counts. Anyway, he lives though that and escapes before the Americans liberate the camp with Magda, his first wife. He does many more things between then and the first time he decides that humans are no more than bugs ripe for execution. All throughout the series, Magneto is the villain. He starts the Brotherhood of Mutants, which is later changed to the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants because his methods were somewhat insane. Through it all, he is loved by Xavier who believes that his friend is in there somewhere, the scared young man who survived death camps and degradation. At times he's even heroic. Saving the Earth alongside the X-Men just to fight them again. I guess he's just very complicated. And a serious silver fox. LOL

My second choice is Dabi from My Hero Academia. Toya was firstborn of a hero that is consumed by the drive to be the best. Everything he does is pointed at that intangible goal. Even his marriage was arranged to give his kids a leg up on the competition. Toya is born and when his quirk manifests, right away his parents can tell something is wrong. Yes, little Toya is powerful, but as time wears on he's burning himself, not because he's acting out, but because his quirk is messed up somehow. His skin can't handle his firepower. In the end, Endeavor forbids his son from even using it, fearing that Toya might die. Unfortunately, all Toya can see is his parents popping out one kid after another to 'replace' him. In the end, in one final bid to get his father to notice him, he flames out. He's kidnapped at the brink of death, and brought to a hospital run by bad guys in order to find the next 'All for One'. Where he ultimately just kinda goes nuts. They even abandon him. Feeling disenfranchised by a family who he believes didn't love him enough to come looking for their lost child and the hospital where he was healed, then discarded, be becomes a terrible person. All that being said, my heart goes out to all abused children. He is warped, but there are glimpses of his humanity when faced with capturing his little brother. It's just sad, and I suppose I can't allow another gorgeously scarred, white haired, blue eyed villian go unloved...

Ru Ling aka Princess Shunde (from The Blue Whisper)

she's a beautiful princess from the Heaven Realm. i love her because she's one of the few villains i have seen who actually enjoys being a villain. u can tell she's having fun making other people suffer and she looks great doing it. nothing will stop her from getting what she wants. i think she's a kind, sweet girl who is misunderstood by people. she can be very generous if they give her what she wants lol. why not let her destroy the world? :)

Hans Gruber from Die Hard. A young (well.. 41, but at my age that's young...) Alan Rickman brought Gruber to life with a menacing restraint that is captivating. He is suave, smart, handsome, and about as evil as can be. I mean, he plans to blow up the building's roof with all the hostages herded onto it, just to hide a robbery. That's really villainous.

Johan Liebert from Monster Intelligent, cunning, is a nihilist, a manipulator, a killer... He is a complex character.

They're the worst, but my favorite villains are Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn from You. (Honorable mention goes to Amy Dunne from Gone Girl.) I love these kinds of villains because they're so cunning and manipulative. It's very difficult for their victims and the people around them to see who they truly are.

Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. What can I say other than she's absolutely horrible? I have never disliked a character more than her.

Shouting out to Loki too! Funny and charming and you just can't hate him!

I'm a sucker for anti-heroes, but as ever, I'm a broken record, my favorite 'anti-hero' is of course, say it with me:

Here's just one example of him being a selfish anti-hero while he was on DC's Legends of Tomorrows. The gang is getting attacked by zombies. When John thinks his neck is on the line he's ready for the fight. But as soon as he figures out the zombies aren't interested in him, does he stay in the fight and help his friends? Nope, time for a smoke break. While I have a lot of issues with how DC's Legends of Tomorrow characterized John they did get this moment right. It's stuff like this that make me love him so much and no I still can't explain why.

So as to not be a total broken record another favorite anti-hero is Crowley from Supernatural. He's clever, snarky and is always three steps ahead of the game. He takes big gambles and generally wins. And lets be honest when he was still around can you think of a single apocalypse the Winchesters stopped that he didn't provide the linchpin solution/ingredient for? Honestly what would those boys have done without him?

As for actual villians, I'm not immune to Prince Nuada from Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. He wanted to stand up for his people and all the rare creatures in the world and save the planet. The structure of the narrative dictates that he's the villian but I found it impossible not to root for him (even though as a human had he won it wouldn't have ended well for me but it would've saved the planet).
