Visiting my favourite travel destination, Tokyo, brings me a lot of joy! It's so different from where I'm from and I discover new things every time I go, it's always an adventure 😍💕
My students this year bring me joy. There is a certain sweetness, eagerness, and enthusiasm about them that other years' classes have not possessed. They also love to hear to stories about my cats, Lily and Iris. 😊
I am extending this contest until January the 2nd. There are so many that are traveling, with family, etc. So instead of week 3, I will wishlist gift to every person who has and who will enter for week 2. On the 2nd I will post not only week 2's winner but December's winner as well! I hope you guys had a great Lumi, and I really am looking forward to getting to know and seeing you all for a great new year!

Thank you for the contest, Stardustt. Missed the first week but will join for the 2nd week. ^^ My joy around this season is picking/preparing gifts for my loved ones. Knowing I found gifts that will make them happy, makes my entire Christmas, haha. 😄
Honestly, trying to find joy at the moment is a bit of a struggle, so I'm happy that I found this thread. Taking a moment to really sit and think about what brings me joy at this moment is something that I need to do.
That being said... snuggling with my cat and warm blankets bring me joy today. Bonus joy if there's also a good book to read and hot coffee.
Week 2: The week between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day brings me joy. I get to see my family and friends, a big break from work, and lots of quality time with my husband. ❤️

HAPPY New Year! <3 <3
Winner of week 2 was !!!!!
And Monthly Winner was !!!!!!!
On to a fresh year and month!
Week 1 Prize:
Week 1 Contest: 2023 Tuesday 1/3 to Monday 1/9
Give me something you are looking forward to for this year. Pretty simple and neat. Universe knows we need a brain break after the holidays ;)
My Example:
I am looking forward to seeing what I will be like this time next year. I am doing some self-work and I really wonder what that hard work will look like. I am also looking forward to your guys entries and getting to know everyone better.
I think it's highly likely I will be able to see family abroad this year, I'm looking forward to that since it's been so long ❤️
Congrats to both of the winners!
This year, I'm looking forward to taking engagement photos with my girlfriend! I don't know when it'll be exactly, but we're going to get them done sometime this year. I'm very excited. It's been awhile since I've had any professional photos done, and my partner is a bit camera shy so I wasn't sure if she'd want to.
This year I am looking forward to stopping the procrastinating. Realizing stuff isn't going to just happen to/for me, so I have to build the base of what I want for my life.
It's going to sound maybe kinda cheesy...but since the new year started I have really felt like it's going to be a great one for me in every aspect. Last year was really draining for me. I spent most of it depressed and feeling like I was doing absolutely nothing.
This year, I'm looking forward to working on my mental health...and I hope with all my heart for my parosmia to be gone so that I can eat like a normal person again. ❤️
2022 was a rough year and honestly I'm not holding out much hope for 2023.... I am looking forward to the return of Russel T Davies and David Tennant on Doctor Who. Hopefully we'll have some good adventures with them again.
2022 ended on a sour note for myself and, family. Hopefully, the new year will start looking up. I will continue to work on eating right and, getting some form of exercise. Probably just walking. Even that will be difficult for a couch potato like myself!!

I'm planning to be a bit more social irl this year. c: Starting off well with as I've planned a picnic and reached out to a couple of people I haven't talked to in years.
I am looking forward to another year of online teaching. We started this during the pandemia yet the students and I are so happy with it, all passed their exams even with mostly online lessons. So the college board decided to go on like this because it is much more convenient, timesaving and climate-friendly. Which means I can stay home with the kitties most of the time when not having pain patients in the practice who are in need of acupuncture, all other homeopathic patients mostly use online appointments via video nowadays, too

If I claimed and missed you please tell me.
I am looking forward to many excursions to learn more about the countryside we now live in.
Have a great day, you all!
Well, if it actually happens this year(I'm not very hopeful sigh) I would be looking forward to the next song of ice and fire book, The Winds of Winter! Come on, George R.R.Martin, you can finish it!!
