Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends! <3 It will be a quiet day here. My husband works today, so we celebrated with my parents last Saturday. I love Thanksgiving for many reasons, one of which is that it's a holiday we celebrate with just the four of us. It's peaceful and delicious!

An mine did enjoy time and food mit mine siblings. Tho a winter storm warning forced mine to leave early from mine sister's, we made the most of the time. Our father got his share of the experience, while our middle brother is oddly silent this year...

Not much to do this Black Friday, the outside is cold enough to keep us inside and to bring in all the small dogs. If they want to go out, mine won't impede. Mine only embark to bring in firewood or check on the critters. Mine would do well to set a cup of seed for the birds who fly free.

610 ! Wow! I am at 7. I was doing good until we switched back from DST a few weeks before the USA did in October. Once I go back to Day 1 I stumble more.

we did Thanksgiving on Friday with friends. It was raining when we walked over (our Sabbath starts around sundown on Friday, and we don’t drive). Our friends are also friend of my son in law so my daughter and family came too. Such fun. I gave thanks for friends and being where we are today. :-)

Anduh... one week left before finals. One last shop day to complete the semester project. Mine think four hours may be enough to rebuild an older less complex model. Mine would prefer mine group finish, taking home a jumble of parts and little prospect of continuation would be a letdown. Tho mine think some outside interest is brewing with this vintage gearbox...

Time to upgrade to a newer phone, mine little flipper has been without service for two weeks now. Sho, just charge it to the platinum card...

[edit] And today mine going to an office to begin the title transfer of mine car, mine have all the necessary items for the forms. But mine need to bring mine father along to add his part, he sold the car to mine zo he needs to be present.

[edit] The semester ends with a whimper, today's lecture and tomorrow's shop are cancelled. No group is going to finish their projects, and mine need to determine the fate of mine transmission. Just one assignment left, the final exam.

Cool HA! I especially love the hair. Wouldn't it be fun to be able to do that at home?

Mine final test grade was a 100, and the nest few days mine can retake previous assignments until Friday. By then mine will gknow mine overall grade, and claim mine rewards maybe mine friend can have lunch that day.

[edit] Tho it seems, most online assignments are locked. Zo mine could only correct the one mine mentioned, which was only possible because it was unfinished. Two more days before mine learn the overall grade.

I don’t have the courage to color my hair at home, lol. It’s sure fun here though. ❤️

Oh I like to play with it! I did it once at a salon, cost me a lot of money and it wasn't what I wanted. So what, it grew out! LoL But I do love the options here also!

Hey you! Your forum signature never ceases to generate a smile. :D However, right now.... I am on a strict no sweet regiment (no fake sweeteners either!) and Ketchup is full of sugar, but mustard isn't! I was dismayed to find out that my favourite condiment (horseradish sauce) is made with corn syrup! I have to make my own mayonnaise now. First batch, not so good. Yesterday's was great.

Mine began the teardown of the Chevy V6 this morning, and it was revealing! Mine expected rust, dust, and water damage, but after removing the heads it was to say the least extreme. Mine initial plan to rebuild is dumped in favor of just a teardown, and some minor cleaning of less damaged parts.

During the steps, mine also made note to keep the parts in some order if only to establish good mechanical habits. The oil pan is nest, to see the crankshaft and piston rod condition, but that's another day.

The final grade may also be impressive, stay tooned!

That's a bummer about the sweet restriction! I've cut way back in recent years, but not completely. You're right, though. There are a LOT of foods with sugar in them! I've been mindful of avoiding the corn syrup! Can you make horseradish??? I don't even know what goes into it! Can't live without mayo!! Glad you're improving!

As mine said, any update to mine middle brother's baby will warrant a post. Mine overheard him mention that he and his lady will be revealing their baby's gender on the 25th.

Good for yiu on your academic success! Also, gender reveal party on your holiday? How do you feel about that? All the family gathered round to share the joy? Congratulations on the soon event of niece/nephew. We had another (last married couple this round) tell us hey are expecting. 7 new babies within 18 months is pretty cool! Now the pressure is on the 3 unmarried ones to get “hitched”. So to speak.

Horseradish is a root that looks like ginger root. It’s not readily available around here, usually stores have it in the Spring (before Passover). I guess I would make mayo and add it. For passover I make a red one from raw beets and ground horseradish that is well received. But not eating flour I have very little use for spreads! LoL. I will figure this out yet! My daughter told me yesterday that her stomach aches/ nausea are subdued with bread. Yeah, well that’s not gonna work! I just ignore it mist of the time. I had a cup of coffee this morning. My first in over 2 months. Divine! 🤭

Mine final grade is a 92.2, and have claimed mine prizes.
