Thank you ever so much for the communication, , and for all the hard work everyone puts into keeping our beloved site going! Most players who have been here for years, know the drill when things go wonky like this, however a lot of new players are in the dark. It's great when everyone can see that staff is actually doing something about the issues at hand, and we aren't all just swimming around in a sinking tub. <3 So thank you again for making it visible. I appreciate you! <3
Yes, apologies, it's my general practice to give people chances for forum tickets as well as being able to have updates show up in Staff Posts but it's not perfect when the forums are having issues. I wasn't quite tracking that part of it through this sinus infection when I posted it. Thank you for the reminder! The announcement should show up on the front page still and I will make sure to update that for visibility as we get more info.

Thank you for the info on the servers. I just figured Subeta was practicing being a ghost for Morostide.
As for posting this in the forums....YES PLEASE!! I love your way of thinking with regards to getting the chance at a forum point for my post. I don't post much on the forums. I'm not much of a talker really. So any chance at getting FPs is greatly appreciated. :)
Thank you so much for the heads up, and going more into the technical bits here c: and thanks to Keith for working so hard on the code. I wish I had some relevant experience to offer.
Side note, it's so much easier for me to read a thread than the news comments (news comment pagination plz), but I can see where people are coming from, I do have to refresh occasionally to get past the loading.
Echoing the posts about this needing to be a news post rather than a forum post. It took me 15 minutes to get this topic to even load. Like, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the forum post!!! I like the opportunities to post and get points and it's an easier way to voice my opinion. But it doesn't make much sense if the forums are part of what's broke. Couldn't hurt to put it in both places.
[edit] edited to add i just noticed the "Trying to read a staff post? Check our Admin Posts page if you are unable to load the forums" now added to the forum loading page...idk if that's always been there, but i appreciate it!!!!
Good Luck, and thanks for all the hard work. It's always frustrating when things glitch, but Subeta is well worth the wait while you folks work on a fix.
I appreciate the update. Thank you all for the hard work and keeping us informed.
Thank you so much for the hard work! I look forward to when I can successfully load my wardrobe and make avatars again. I know everyone involved is doing their absolute best.
Sending lots of good vibes and virtual coffee.

Since these issues are going on Day 3 now, is there a time estimate for when this will be resolved? Or are least when the site will be more manageable. I do understand this is a matter being worked on so in no way am I being pushy on a turnaround. Just curious!
I can't seem to fix my broken HA or get the forums to load half the time
Galaxia ^_^ I appreciate the updates one what's going on.
It's late so I'm a bit tired, but I basically wanted to say everything NoCuteNameForMe said. I agreed with Anrivef in that if I had enough relevant experience I would want to help. We really appreciate Keith going in to fight the squirrelly code. I know the Subeta team is doing their best in what they can do and we thank you all very much! <3
Can we like... delay Morostide until the lag and things not loading is fixed for the most part? I'm willing to wait if it means that the event goes off without too many hiccups.

if they delay Morostide won't it affect Luminaire too? :(
I have the same problem, like my friend say, we can see if a player is active since the avatar is broken xD
I definitely get the idea behind the forum tickets for sure. It's just an issue when V2 is having so much trouble that forums just generally don't load well. Hopefully it can get sorted.
Fireside is between Morostide and Luminaire so it shouldn't affect Lumi. It may affect Fireside. They don't tend to delay and extend Morostide though - if it gets delayed it just gets delayed.
[edit] As of about 5:10pm Subeta time on October 9th, I'm completely unable to purchase from CW Shops. I've tried three times to buy an item and it is just endless loading. With luck, whenever this gets actually worked on it won't somehow process the three attempts, but I don't feel lucky.
Also I feel like maybe if this is at least temporarily fixable by clearing the cache manually, as described above, then maybe that's something that should be done as it's affecting the money generating portion of the site. If the wardrobe isn't functional, the urge for most folks to buy csc (whether for CWs or cash shop items) is going to be a lot lower. Plus issues on that means, I'm sure, issues with subscribing as well as that's V2 managed, though I'm sure it hasn't seen as much impact because people aren't cancelling/subscribing multiple times a day.
Also I technically changed my HA about 20 minutes ago after much loading wait and refreshing and loading wait and refreshing, but that isn't updating on site (also the wait time to get anything beyond the initial page of items to load is astronomical. I'm going on nearly 10 minutes waiting for a search word to change the shown items).
[edit] It's now 5:26pm. I managed to finish changing but now my HA is gone. Checking from a previous post where I can open image in a new tag shows sapi.subet.net is having constant 500 server errors. That's it for the help I can give shrug
Right...is this not a temp option? I know staff is moving toward permanent, tangible solutions and not bandaids on bullet holes.
Maybe it isn't, as the cashe would fill up when Keith would be sleeping.
I feel like, if they made a point that Keith was able to cycle it manually the other day to stop the issues then maybe that needs to be what's happening when he is awake at least to make the site functional. I get needing to see where issues are happening but it's now 3+ days of constant struggle and breaks and non-functional aspects of the site so like...that should have given enough data and if it hasn't, at least fix it for now and check again when it happens again.
I'd rather have a bandaid on a bullet hole than bleed out waiting for surgery tbh. There's gotta be some sort of middle ground between temporary solutions and not doing a single solitary thing to fix the issues until the whole thing can be permanently solved until the next new issue crops up =/
I don't know enough about coding to speak much on it but if there were to be a temp solution while working on permanent fix that would be ideal. First day in a bit I came on to submit CWs and to my surprise it's been broken. I just wonder if days will turns into weeks because it is spooky month D: worst timing. I imagine this time of month has to be somewhat of a money maker.
