We always go out for dinner the night before New Years Eve as that's when things are quiet and we can enjoy celebrating without putting too much pressure on those people who have to work on New Years Eve. On the night itself we like to talk and discuss what adventures we might want to go on in the new year as well as recalling what we've already done. We don't really make new year's resolutions. Mostly because we try to fix things when we know there's a problem when we find out about it. It's quiet but we enjoy each other's company. :) There's a lot to be greatful for. I'm glad my family is healthy and enjoying life, that my friends are looking forward to positive change in their lives or are healthy and safe, that I have a new oppertunity to progress my career, that I managed to do something on my bucket list this year and that I have hope for the future. I know it's a bit vague but a lot happened in 2022 and I'm taking comfort in that most of it was positive for those important to me. I'm going to ping:

My plans for the end of the year are to enjoy spending time with my family, and to quit smoking. I am most thankful that the stroke I had in September wasn't a really bad one and with therapy I am getting better every day. come join! Thank you Judy for the ping!

My end of year plans are to just spending time with family during the holiday. I usually stay in for New year's (too many amateur drinkers out there who think they can drive after drinking!!!)

I'm most thankful for my husband's getting a new kidney, he waited over 4 years for it...no more dialysis for him and hopefully get back to a normal routine!!!

Thanks for pinging me This is a special holiday season for me. It's the first holiday season I've really looked forward to since the deaths of my Dad, Sister and Mom. I mainly just went through the motions since then. I'm so excited and am planning so much for our family here. Been making wreaths, centerpieces, snowmen and much more. I even made Halloween wreaths! My daugheter and dI are making plans for the outside decorations as well. I'm so blessed to have known them and all the wonderful holiday memories I had with them and now I get to make even more holiday memories here with my immediate family! I'm excited! Thank you for the chance to share!

This year I am planning and working hard to make most(adult) gifts! Saved a ton of vacation time this year and will be using it all up in December so I will have plenty of time for homemade creations! Yeahhhhhhh me! LOL I am thankful to have all of my wonderful friends and family to spoil this year!

I honestly don't have any plans at the moment for the end of the year. It's too far away to think about still, even though it'll be here before any of us are ready. I am truly thankful for my friends though, especially those that I pinged to this thread. We may not chat as often these days, but it's reassuring to know that they're all still here and just a message away with a listening ear and kind thought. <3

I am grateful for to be close to the nature, because it shows so much energy, will to continuing through any hardship, and also it is peaceful and harmonious. I am also grateful to people, who are close to me (family and friends), and all people who can show empathy, softness and fairness to others. I am also thankful that my body is healthy, so I can move freely and do what I want to.

My plans? I have to finish some stuff for school. I also want to bake more stuff, because baking and cooking in the autumn or winter is the best thing to do. I also will take more photo with my friend (for fun:D).
