Just popping in again to say I hate this so much. It effects my regular play. Haven’t done quests in ages and can’t be bothered to frag/do rb anymore.

Still there are some great and more user friendly suggestions here than the current solution.

The economy is a mess. Overall user shop prices are way too low. I noticed in particular yesterday with the main shops being down. Almost everything is at around 2k. How is anybody (esp. new players) supposed to make money with their shops in order to buy the stuff that costs hundreds of millions and billards of sP?

Oh no prices have plummeted because people like me (hoarders/fraggers) are being hindered in buying up cheap items? Who could've seen that coming?? Oh wait, we did, when this was first implemented. Crazy how that works,. huh?

In all seriousness though. , is this going to be changed at some point, like was promised? I think it's shown itself to be counter productive, so it should just be removed altogether....

Honestly if people weren’t purposely undercutting items to make a profit and basically ripping people off and causing people to stop using the autopricer this never would’ve happened.

So instead of blaming staff for trying to fix an issue DOZENS of people begged for and multiple people wrote tickets about, blame the people purposely trying to manipulate the market to make a quick profit at others expense by drastically lowering items and then trying to quickly snag up all the autopriced items.

The same people are STILL doing it, so clearly staffs measures haven’t completely solved the issue…

Except this timer was added in an attempt to stop it by staff, despite everyone saying they should be tackling the AP system instead and now it's clearly not working and in fact made problems elsewhere. The people doing it are a problem. Staff did something to stop it which turned out is also a problem. Caused by staff. Which they should then fix.

Also Galaxia did say that if you see someone clearly doing it, you can report them for it and they'll look into it. So report these people and staff will talk to them if there is a problem.

If people would stop PURPOSEFULLY lowering prices to turn around and sell the item,, this wouldn’t be necessary. People up in here lying about fragging the items. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I don't know if that was directed at me, but I can assure that since staff talked to me about it, I have not changed my items prices in a downward direction since. I just want that to be very clear.

No one here has named anyone or singled anyone out. If you feel like people are thinking its you than maybe it’s your own guilty conscience talking.

Not one person has personally named you but you constantly accuse anyone who even mentions this behaviour of targeting you.

If you did this in the past and stopped? Great. But stop accusing everyone of targeting you when no one is mentioning you personally at all.

We’re all allowed opinions on this, even ones against your own. Accusing us of targetting is not fair.

I really dislike this update. That is all.

Reporting to staff is difficult. I can see the people buying up items from my shop for rediculously low prices in bulk. But I have no idea if they set the price low or are just profiting off of a different person's actions to tank prices.

Still dislike this when mass-buying for TC stuff. :/

Haven't chimed in yet so wanted to add to the chorus - not a fan at all.

This is a pain for questing, for buying up undercut items, and especially for fragging. The fragmentizer is an existing site feature that is actively being used and encouraged (new items added to the crystal shop regularly!), but it's now extra time consuming and frustrating to buy up cheap common items to frag.

There were some better solutions offered by users earlier (like those in 's post here) - can we not try some of those?

- I'm not gonna name people as that would be target6ting but I'm pretty sure they know who they are when reading this. I see the same usernames buying up the artificially low priced items in my shop (shop log exists) and then when I check their shop, they don't use to for RB or even fragging. They're selling the items they bought from my shop for more than what they bought it for. So in essence they're creating the low price so that they can make a profit from it. THIS is why people are bitching.

yeah i don't think i'm going to bother buying up the undercut items anymore. what's the point? it keeps happening and it's really tedious now... the sentiments expressed here make me wary of being perceived as doing something wrong by buying them. i don't undercut items myself but i didn't want to pass up a bunch of rares i see for 2k or whatever just so i can feel noble about it. and then yeah i'm gonna resell them. as others have said the actual problems could be solved by staff tackling autopricer abuse. but instead people will keep undercutting and people will keep autopricing without checking. and other people will spend the time to buy up the devalued items. this is totally healthy. :/

Suspect of someone? File a ticket and let staff investigate it. If you're sure of it and nothing was done then that's a whole other story and issue. You don't undercut? Then the only thing you need to worry about is pissing people off. And believe it or not but not everyone gets mad when something is bought for cheap in their shops. I already use all my time and sanity to hoard things for RB so when I see an undercut item that would require to buy dozens and dozens of it to fix the problem I simply can't bother anymore. When I see someone went and bought 10, 20 copies of said item in my shop I'm just so thankful someone did the job I was too lazy to do. And I know I'm not alone in that because we never are.

It would be nice if we weren't all punished for the behaviour of a few individuals.

I am both amazed and feel really really bad for the poor souls who have been plopping themselves down and very slowly but consistently buying up crystals from my shop.

A one-second time limit was enough of a slog when it comes to currency, but adding the 7 batch limit on top of that?

kept smacking into this just doing wizard quests, and please note i have a very average-at-best computer, and it is probably the most obnoxious nonsense counter against "hoarding" a theoretical person may possibly do to undercut I have ever seen. now we still have lowered prices AND no one will buy the undercut, tanking the value of said item to the new formerly-undercut price, or is that not what's happening?

also just saw staff is considering ANOTHER CURRENCY???? we have to have 3 separate sections just to list all the ones the site already has!

Whoa, what, where was this said about another currency?! We don't need more currencies!

Is there a link to where staff are talking about another currency? I really hope they don't add another, we have so many as it is. It's definitely overwhelming for new players.
