Hey all! I had a couple questions -
Unless I have goals set, I tend to spend my exp a few days accumulation at a time.
Training extra pets for me is just getting more loot to either gift or sell, depending on the items.

LoL thanks Amei. I am not the best at naming my poor pets. :P
Yeah that made me laugh!:P
I dunno, I tend to hoard my EXP like crazy. I find it useful when someone is really close to their next tier, then I can do it all at once. As for multiple battle pets, yeah, loot, or because your main pet is gonna cap soon and it gets boring steamrolling everything. Sometimes you want to try a certain stat spread to see how it works. Or you're just bored. i dunno, many reasons for different people! For me I just like to write new characters and try out different stat spreads.

My favorite is still A Lil Anoid :p
I tend to save exp but only until what I have saved gets close to running over into the next tier. Stats do cost more as your pet gets stronger, but it’s not incremental, the cost increase doesn’t change until you hit the next tier. I wait for the “sweet spot” where spending every bit of exp I have saved buys me into the next tier with very little left over.
I’m a bad one to ask this. I have 43 pets and 28 of them are actively being trained. I want to have at least one pet in every tier so the other 15 are already at their designated tier and are done their training journey. I’m pretty lazy about it for the majority though, there are really only about four that I work particularly hard at. They’re tiers 13, 11, 10, and 8. My yearly goal is always for everyone still in training to go up one tier in a year though.
The purpose for me is mostly that I like it, and I want all the loot.

- At lower tiers, I would say spend EXP but hoard boosters. At lower tiers EXP cost per stats is lower, and it's worth it to slowly improve and get further against challengers and higher BQs faster. Boosters are generally best left until higher tiers when training times are longer and EXP costs per stat are higher.
As for building armies, it is a lot of fun, and it can make some of the achievements easier (like 'beat X opponent 100 times' is easier when you can beat it 10x with 10 pets opposed to 1 pet 100 times since opponents get stronger each time you win against them) You can also earn more loot which is nice when they are multi-use items like food and wearable, but you also need the time to dedicate to battling with multiple pets. I have 15 pets I am training, but typically during events, I only really have time to battle with 3-4 of them :(
Camping outside the Directory! Fingers crossed Moro starts today!
I know the challengers don't show up for a few days but you never know.
1.) I use experience points immediately. There really isn't a benefit to hoarding experience points since the cost per stat is only going to increase as you go up in tiers. If your an extreme experience point hoarder to where the # of stats you could earn would make a noticeable difference in battle your only hurting yourself in missed exp from additional challengers you could be earning exp from and daily BQ's your not finishing.
There is a benefit to holding off on boosting items in the lower tiers since using them pushes you into the next tier making stats cost more. Your own personal goal is key to finding what works for you on boosters. If your hoarding for months to the extent your missing out on events, challengers and daily BQ's - that's a lot of experience points that can make up the extra cost your missing out on not including time restricted loot like Shrieks from night lady!
2.) I train multiple battle pets since battling is all I do on subeta.
Once you get a T13 pet, it helps bring life back to the earlier tier opponents and lets me experiment with new builds.
There arn't a ton of challengers or wars going on so bringing in new pets keeps the game going!
The 2nd pet is also a little bit easier since you can piggy back off weapons/scrolls you already received from your first pet :).
