Big support from me! Even as reruns, this feels like a fresh approach to introducing lore and community to newbies. And even to those of us who have been here for forever and either only vaguely remember some of the history or maybe missed stuff all together during long absences.

I just want a plot, it has been like what? 5-6 years without one?

I don't care if it's old, new or part 2, just give me a plot.

Even if plot reruns aren't feasible, having access to archived versions of the plots or their stories would be a great addition to the Subetapedia. The information is still hosted on the site, but it doesn't look like there's a spot within Subetapedia for it already:

Seriously though, this is great. I would be perfectly fine with reruns getting retcons at the staff's discretion. OSRS is great because its unafraid of adding to an old classic.

I joined 13 years ago and was pretty active during some of the grandiose site events back then. I don't love the idea of fully rerunning them just to deflate antiques, though building a frame-plot into it with the Rift sounds on-brand for Subeta whimsy. Seconding that a plot, any plot, even reheated leftovers of plot would satiate a hunger that constitutes much of the back-and-forth I still have with those folks I've known who haven't left. Thanks to exquisite for linking those archives -- unexpected nostalgia bomb, and deffo something that belongs in Subetapedia.

Read through some of the discussion about this, and I think this can actually work really well! It's all kind of thanks to the Rift tbh lol. I would not mind a plot of any sort to take place on Subeta, old or new. Plots have been some of my favourite memories on this site and even if it's something old that's been giving a bit of a refurb.

Also this wasn't really a plot but man I wish we had another Peek-a-boo event :c

Using Time Travel as a way to play with old plots would be a fantastic option, and it'd also be a great way to get some of those old items that were tied to those plots and have never been brought back since back into circulation.

I would absolutely love to revisit some of the plots just for the sake of seeing them again, too, because I really liked a lot of the plots we've done. I'm sure there may be some things that can't be pulled up, that may have been lost to time or the coding just wouldn't allow for it anymore, so if doing the old plots exactly the same way again might be impossible, the suggestion of the rift going haywire could be used to bypass that to have just parts of the plots dragged back up.

Full support for a rift-based time travel sort of rehashing of the plots! It'd be cool if it ended up being it's own sort of event OR maybe just a feature of the rift for the player to step through & into a past plot point! (it'd be a cool function if you could step through the rift & back out into subeta at a different time and then you have to figure out which plot you're at lol) Love love love <3 I love the plots so much and I'm sad to not be able to revisit them!

Also someone above mentioned subetapedia falling by the wayside. Is there a way to make it user-run, like wikipedia? That could end up causing a lot of chaos, but I also see so many users putting so much love into the site that it could be a good thing! Just a thought!

I have been thinking about this for a while too. I remember certain plots from when I joined 10+ years ago and would love to do these again. Steele Plot, EpicCon, Oman Islands Plot... the plots were what made the site for me.

I know some aspects relied on flash games which may be tricky, but surely the content / resources are already there? Maybe I am being too naive, but this could be a way to bring some joy and life back into the site without needing to sink much £ investment.

Not sure if I care how the plots are rerun since I was busy or missed most of them for other reasons. It would be a good opportunity make small changes maybe like an AU. Gunter finds redemption or something because honestly his whole turn to the dark side felt like it came out of nowhere to me. But I didn't really pay close attention to the story or plots before then.

More than anything though I agree that it would be awesome to have an opportunity to experience the plots I enjoyed again and the ones I missed for the first time. Please let us have the Ice skin!!!! And with Quentin around why do the islander and pirate items have to be so expensive?

That would be cool (also I had no idea our lore was so lore-riffic! I still remember Neopets lore 20 years later but...phew), but if we can't get Bhakorus released sans plot (wasn't that to happen in Nov? or Oct? Sometime late this year), even with existing assets, something with more (already existing) assets than that would be wishful.

I'm down for old plots returning in whatever form. :D What a neat idea.

I missed almost all the plots too, thanks to my hiatus. I'd be thrilled to use the rift or something to be able to participate in them. Even if it locks me in for a bit while I do my stuff.

Another game that I play has a dream world area where you can explore the memories of a previous limited time event. Rewards are slightly reduced, to preserve the "You had to be there" aspect, but you can get the story and at least a few of the rewards.

I would love to be able to revisit the old plots. I don't remember much of anything that happened in the older plots, and I was only able to participate a little bit - not about to complete them because I was a kid still in school with bad internet at home. :( It would be truly amazing to reopen these plots so that new (and old) users can explore these stories. <3 (also it would be really awesome to earn some points to purchase old, old items!!)

I don't remember if I posted on here before on this topic, but I'm gonna write anyways. Initially, my feelings were, "No, what's done is done, let's move on to new stories" or "what about older players? What about the handling of those achievements and prizes?" and was gonna be against the idea. But i never posted and proceeded to forget this thread.

Time has passed. We've gone without a plot forever. And I say, screw it, give us reruns. It's basically new content for new players who missed out on the past stuff. It gives those of us who were present at the time of a plot but couldn't achieve everything or, like me, just were only passively playing, a chance to actually participate now.

Content is content, old or new. Something to do is better than nothing to do.
