Hello there!
Blocking has had to be patched a few times, and we realize that has made it unwieldy and imperfect in how it handles things as well as what it's intended to address in general. Unfortunately, though, implementing major changes in the current coding is just going to be a bandaid at best and may break something else at worse. A unified approach to the blocking system that plays nice with other features and takes into account feedback like this is the plan for V2. and Keith is working on that. However, as sole coder working with a lot of systems, it is taking some time.
One thing that should still be the case, though, is that users cannot send gifts to someone who has blocked them! If that is going on or even if you suspect an anonymous box got though because of a bug, please file a ticket. Heck, for harassing gifts in general, please let us know so we can take the appropriate action.

We don't want to give a particular timeframe that we then have to adjust when something else happens. There is way more than just one system at play for Subeta and being able to say, 'let's do a patch or a complete rework of this thing' for blocking is one more in the pile of database, servers, and overall operation as well as life circumstances slowing things down. The user shop and the CW release shop, for instance, are two different systems and integration would be the only way to stop the username from showing up when someone purchases from a user shop.
Since they blocked you, they do not see your presence around the site except in systems where the coding doesn't handle exceptions well (like user shops). If you want to remove them from your experience, you would need to block them.
In terms of the autopricer, we're looking at solutions but the risk of compromising its operation is a worry. We would also want more user input on what people want to see so we can do a big project of it rather than several small tinkers that have the potential to break some other part of it, and the suggestions so far are a great start! While I am going to close this thread because I can keep your feedback in mind and add it to the ongoing project, I am going to start one over in Brainstorming for Autopricer Ideas. Please leave your suggestions over at https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/927784
Thank you!

Per community feedback and my mention in the other thread, this one is being re-opened.
However, please take discussion of the autopricer specifically to the autopricer suggestions thread! Also, suggestions are great and we're really hoping for, as a community, a more upbeat space talking about possibilities and ideas. 'I don't like this' makes sense and is useful feedback, but at the same time per community guidelines please try not to make this a negative space!
As well, in regards to harassment or issues with other users, please remember to file a ticket if it is ongoing and we can address it under community guidelines even if it's not covered under the software as it is now! But we can't fix what we don't have a full or even partial picture on.
Thank you. I'm sorry I acted hastily and hope you'll give me another chance, and appreciate all of you being part of Subeta. This site and its community is so full of memories and joy for so many people and we do want to foster that for all Subetans.

It's unfortunately too dependent on a lot of different factors to handle it as anything other than a case-by-case basis, which is why we encourage reporting. If someone tries to claim something was an innocent mistake, having the documentation that this is their 10th 'mistake' makes it pretty clear that they know what they're doing. Stuff that happens offsite often isn't something we police unless it gets really, really severe and we can prove without a shadow of a doubt that the person is the user we believe they are on Subeta.
