I'm from also a tiny town up in Ohio! My work is based in Atlanta, GA though and we work with a company out of Birmingham Alabama. Those folks all seem to despise living in Alabama as well. I'm not very political and don't normally care to get roped into discussions about it but most of their hatred for the state always seems to be political. Alabama seems to have a poor reputation.
Ohio is basically just cornfields and wannabe southerners, which is quite weird since we're about as north as it gets without going into the further northeastern states.
I'm right at the border of AL and FL, and i lived in florida my whole life... it's weird being an alabama resident, but when my husband died, he left me this house in this small ass town...we literally only have one stop light where i'm at. And it was a BIG deal when it went up. There's no walmart, or anything. We have a local pizza place, a dollar store, and a circle K. That's about it. But I am close to the ocean, and i like that.
Hurricanes suck though.
Hi there! Ohio here too! May I ask what part? I'm in South East Ohio. About 2 hours East of Columbus. In a tiny little town, barely a speck on the map.
Hi ! It's nice to know I'm not the only one who came back after a long time. 😊 I never played here as a kid, I was already an adult so I'm really old. Lol
am from Martins Ferry! Also about 2 hours east of Columbus! A major "large town/city" near me is St. Clairsville, with Wheeling WV right across the river.
Omgosh! That is crazy! We are neighbors!! Are you familiar with the Quaker City exit? (Or Old Washington) It's about half an hour West of St Clairsville. I don't live in any town, being out in the country.
We go to st Clairsville a good bit. My boyfriend loves the Chinese restaurant beside Starbucks. Lol
