Ugh driving for 8 hours would not be fun! But like you said sometimes it's nice. And I wouldn't have slept either. I had a respite worker and that was a total fail. Although it was only for 2 hours so not really enough time for me to do stuff. I spent more time cleaning before she came and got Liz and then entertaining her once Liz ran out of things to do. LOL!

I was so shocked as we had never had any problems with fleas before. I'm way more proactive now. :-D

After I made him the stew he just had to buy salmon today. And he doesn't eat it but since it's a holiday I had to make something for Liz. rotfl!! Thank you and yours is very pretty too. :-)

well that's very interesting :P I might have to get a salt gun myself cause biting flies are the devil....I don't really care about regular flies..they are annoying but I can live with it...but when they chomp on me? ugh.

me too on flareups...no thank you...I like pinched a nerve in my neck or shoulder sleeping or something the other night and now its hard to turn my head ugh :P And yes whenever we can afford a different house it will be great :D I'll just keep plugging away/trying to save from our freeze dried candy fund lol and hopefully we get there soon :D Probably won't go for a drive today...its so freaking hot haha even inside with the AC its just miserable. haha yes! Sometimes its hard just getting basic things done like you know feeding/cleaning and then that's all I have the energy for...or like everytime I sit down my daughter says "I need something the kitchen." or "I want something in the kitchen." hubby and I joke we are going to get her a shirt that says that cause no matter what you are doing/go to sit down she'll come in and say that lol mine will be doing homeschooling this year, fun fun I'm sure so my already limited time will suck even more :P I can't say I blame you for being a slob now...its tough because clean all the time/24-7. Its exhausting lol

I mean I'd love to till up the soil in our yard but its a rental LOL so unfortunately we can't...I mean we could but I don't want to hear whining later :P and yeah I love summer squash :P that yellow with the green in zucchini and like pan fried? mmm so delicious :P Hopefully you guys can get the deck fixed for next year! i'm hoping we have some property by then so I can get some chickens/have a bigger garden haha :D I really want to like dig into the dirt and have a bunch of onions/potatoes etc :P oh and kohlrabi (which I'd never heard of till we moved here) but its tasty! And gah I know about the skittles! Seriously...I mean at this point I'm going to analyze my store and just try to have like 5 big bags 12 oz size of ALL the flavors...then try to do at least 3 of all the other sizes and see what happens :P so I might just dedicate to skittles for a week or so to get the build up and then focus on other stuff :P Oh your hubby is going to be sooooooooo surprised :o I actually did extra duo starbursts myself for MY stash in my office/bedroom LOL :P cause its my favorite starburst flavor lol :P

I don't know that a garden center would have them? I know I've seen them at Walmart though in the garden section so its possible :D And yeah avocado trees get big but you can get like dwarf versions for container planting :D so that's what I'd do haha :D because end of the world I want some guacamole LOL

The idea is to not be there when they show up, you're already gone on your trip! and for like a day not a couple hours. But it might not be feasible. Hope you find fun stuff to do that is in reach...

Weekened was alright. Indeed, I did start one of the new ones from my monthly boxes. The June one hasn't arrived yet so I'll have to call them tomorrow and have them try to find out what's happened since it was suppose to be delivered in two days, yet it's not moved at all.
However, the replacement project came today and I've made half of it. I don't have enough time to finish it tonight but I'll finish tomorrow. I'm pretty pleased with the end results.

Uhh I have 4 trays for my medium machines and I can fit one 15 oz bag so with a full load I have 4 12 oz bags plus like one 1.5 oz bag but when folks come in and order like 4 12 oz bags? haha so hard to keep up on...hopefully the 2nd machine helps with that :P And I think he'll love it too :P Did you want any other taffy flavors besides the assorted? Taffy is next on the list but real feel 103+ today soooooo turned machines off for the day LOL :P (flavors are maple bacon, cotton candy, pina colada, pb&j, cinnamon roll, chocolate chip, tropical, assorted, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, banana, peppermint, watermelon, berries & cream, and nasty black licorice LOL) so just let me know if there was other flavors you wanted because I'll make sure I run "those" flavors first LOL! ;) and I can't remember was there anything else you were wanting me to stock up more on (besides the taffy?) :P just let me know ;) I should be able to get to those in the next 2-4 days as it should cool down a bit (thank god) though if its hot I might just run one machine on those days LOL! No machines on today and the temps are "comfortable" though hubs is complaining its hot haha

You're so brave homeschooling! I felt like Liz needed the socialization too much and I needed my me time too much to homeschool. lol But as much as I fought the school district over the years I'm surprised I didn't. And at least Liz has me on a schedule so there's no unexpected kitchen trips. :-D

I stopped using the raised bed and moved all the dirt from it. One, from our veggies and such not really growing and two, those stray cats liked to use it as litter box. I haven't seen anything since I did all of that. Yeah, flooding would be a big deal with trying to use the backyard.

Salmon is good! And the way I make it is super simple. Seasoning Salt and Seasoned Pepper and then lay lemon slices covering a much as possible and about 13 min in the air fryer. So easy yet so yum!!
