This couldn't wait, mine change mine car's rear brakes. All the parts arrived yesterday, and after the morning chores mine got to work. The new segment was resetting the parking brake, zo mine got to play mit the reset tool. 90 minutes later all set, and a short test drive showed the results.
The front is queued until an open lab during the nest semester. Al mine need is new pads, mine fully intend to resurface the rotors. So much to work on and correct, this jalopy be mine first to get up to speed.
Don't mind mine rambling...mine usually talk to the walls anyways.
[edit] An a few hours later, the remaining parts arrived. An oil filter, air filter, an a new belt tensioner. This won't wait either, off to get mine hands dirty.

Zo, the removal and installing of the belt tensioner took long enough. But at least the problem was resolved. The noise was due to the belt slipping because the tensioner was worn out. After the swap, mine tried to reproduce the noise, first by running on idle, then with the A/C on low, and finally on full. No noise, zo mine effort was successful.
Much is left before mine can consider this repaired enough to pass inspection.

:-) I was going to write that from what I have kearned (learned? kenned?) of Life that humans lost a lot when money became the replacement for -well, other things - all the more so animals! But your last line showed me you know that already.

Sometimes mine get a sudden call, mine friend wants to help his friends. His boss was having trouble mit his Mercedes, a misfire in the ignition system. The solution was a simple change of spark plug. Mine friend showed me a video on how to access the space to remove the ignition coil...Mine found the way in under a minute, this coming from someone with little experience in luxury cars. The suspect plug was found to be in poor condition, almost factory original. Ok, zo another example of preferring deadlines to service.
Well once replaced an everything put in place, the critical moment. The owner turned the key, and the engine sounded well. We went for a test drive, with the obligatory pedal to the floor. Mine could tell the owner was pleased to see the vehicle running "like new" His gratitude was dinner and a request to further tune up his car.
We even joked about opening a garage, considering our track record. We'd use real nails in this outfit.
I'm not sure yet. I base my pets on the characters of my story and none of them have a similar color palette or a nuclear motif. Maybe later I will have a character that does. For now I'm letting the potion stay in my vault. :)
Good idea, its best to think about and plan how you want to use potion. So it will fit in a story line for your pets in the future. HUGS gentle

So uh.. Hi ya'll
I kinda disappeared for a bit.. I'm really sorry to those that wondered (and were relying on me).. I was supposed to be doing something here and one thing led to another in my mind and AnXiEtY happened.. For a while, everytime I even thought of subeta my brain sort of twitched into a 'nope' (I don't really know how to describe it..). I've missed the last couple of events I think (my sisters mentioned them to me, but I was starting to let myself not worry more as I was trying to lessen stress in my life (I had some other things going on too)). I guess I just wanted to say.. I'm back. Sort of. I'll try to start getting on more and more. The first couple of weeks of August I'll be taking care of my cousins lil' tot while she gets started with her new job and gets the daycare lined up, so I prob. won't be on much then.. But I'll still try.
To be honest, I was on a different site and they had some maintenance and had a youtube vid up (seems to change up every once in a while). It was the song Final Countdown. ^_^" It made me think of FabulousViolet and I decided to just bite the ...(not sure if allowed that word here).. and Post something already. (I came on for a couple hours around the Fourth and was trying to clean up my events. o.o" I have over 2500 right now and that kinda freaks me out..).
So, If someone tries to message and I don't get back right away.. :') I Am trying to get through all those events.. but it might take a lil' bit..

Another fine, frustrating, dirty, sweaty day of garage monkeys. Mine friend asked mine to change the remaining spark plugs of his boss' Mercedes. Sounded easy at first, the passenger side were all changed in a couple of hours. Now the driver's side were another ordeal, one cylinder was not so hard... then came the last, between the cramped space, the lack of a plan, an finally some added grief of having a poor POV to finish. Mine took longer to install the last sparkplug than the others combined.
Mine not finished, the plan was to continue to mine cousin's for a spit of mowing, but was halted by mine oversight. Mine hadn't brought fuel for the mower. Fortunately she accepted the outcome, and let mine come again tomorrow to resume. Mine friend also let mine know about another job with this Mercedes, this be much easier a simple brake job. Much ado bout nuthin' until Aug 22.
Its birthday who hasnt been here for over 6 months. Does anyone know where or hear what has happened with honeybunney2001328? Several bears are listed as her friends, so hoping someone knows something. Well in any case, lets say Happy Birthday so honeybunney2001328 knows the bears havent forgot and hope everything is okay.
