It helps me when I get overworked over small things to take deep breaths and count to 10 until I've cooled down a little. You could try that! :)
Neither am I overworked over anything nor believe Galaxia is out to ruin my day. Did I sound as if? I just think it's only fair, that Subeta lends a helping hand in this task, when everything was so error prone in the first place. I did nothing wrong with having a big shop and a ton of items. It was not my fault moving items did not work and the tool didn't function correctly back then, either. I just don't want to lose even more than I did, until I found out, that some of the moved items had never made it to their destination.
Please move your shop stuff.
The main thing is that it's been 6 years since the new shop system was implemented. We have had ample time to use the tools that staff have provided us with to move our stuff on our own during that time. At this point I'm not really sure what else can be said, giving us this long to get it sorted has been pretty generous to begin with, I'm sorry but if it hasn't been done by now after nearly 6 years I don't really see how continuing to extend a deadline for a system that is no longer functional will really help.
I swear staff said that items would be automatically moved for people who didn't do it themselves when this whole shop switch over happened. I'm pretty sure Bug said something close to 'no one will lose any items'.
Why not just wipe inactive accounts after a time at this point?
If someone still has a doubt about their shops being actual or legacy click here. https://subeta.net/legacy_shops_migrate.php If the select legacy shop menu is in blank, congratz, U don't have any legacy shops.
There was a hope at one point that code could be done to automatically migrate things to vaults but, for various reasons, the project never came together. And, unfortunately as more changes need to be made and code gets upgraded over time, it's not going to get any more practical or possible.

It wasn’t promised, it was more of an intention
Either way, it appears there’s nothing that can be done about it now and the decision is final. It sucks, but sometimes things just don’t work out and we have to accept it.
Shibbs, I need to clear one ;_; but lazy cuz so much organizing to be done. Curse procrastination.
Edit: ooooooh!! It moves everything to vault ;;_;; that’s amazing and also yikes. I put off doing it cuz the sorting and now I’m flying clueless xD oh well, one less thing.
FYI, if you've been having trouble with your shop showing up on the dropdown, please check again! Keith just pushed a fix for something that was affecting a large number of legacy usershops.

transferred all my items from 4 legacy shops to vault, now i need to sort them.......
I only just became active again after many years (just in time, apparently) but when I try to use the dropdown menu I see no shops appear, yet when I am randomly searching for items it will say I still have one in my legacy shops, suggesting there IS still inventory yet to be moved. Help?
Hm, that is a tricky one. We appreciate you trying the tool, but if it's not showing your shops please file a ticket. I know the UAs have been trying to make this as painless as possible.

I transferred my still huuuuge shop with the tool before the event at the time with the least traffic, just as painstakingly careful and safely as I possibly could. I left my account alone for a few hours in order not to interrupt the transfer in any way.
All the 100 or so items (all rarities, spread through the alphabet, huge stacks of hundreds and thousands as well as single ones) I had written on my list for reference over the months since this announcement, made it into my vault successfully, so I hope/trust nothing out of the immense rest was lost in the process, either.
I had sorted my vault into the categories I needed/wanted years ago prior to this. Of course it still involved a lot of time to take notes of those various items and then doublecheck their numbers afterwards.
Seeing as there is less than a week to the deadline, are you considering doing any sort of reminders?
Yes, I was looking at doing one earlier but was checking with the UA team and with Keith to see if there was anything else I should include.

Mostly still what it says on the tin, er, first post, but I am adding something from the reminder here since it's new:
If you have not gotten to this yet or you know someone who won't be back before the legacy shop retirement, Keith has put together a tool that will automatically move remaining shop items to vault and till sP to on-hand as a step of dismantling the old shop system. Please keep in mind, though, that if you let the automatic migration tool take care of it, we will not be double-checking logs for missing items or sP after the fact unless you actively file a ticket with details. So we do urge you to review your legacy shops, if you still have any, before the 19th if you want to have more control over the process!
Thank you!

Errr, I have concerns... and I'm likely worrying over nothing because I seem to fit all the criteria that say I'm okay, but:
• When I hover over Commerce > My Shops, none of them have the ! symbol or mention anything about being legacy. • When I use the tool that posted, I don't see any 'legacy shops' to choose from. • I also tried searching items that I knew were in my shop and I'm not seeing anything mentioning mine being a legacy shop.
I guess the reason for my concern is that my shop was absolutely, definitely created well over six years ago. Can anyone maybe confirm that I'll be alright if I'm seeing all of this??
