That does sound awesome and creative. :D I bet the kid loved it too.. I picture it working really well with spiderman crawling out of the knee. ;)
Surgeries are never fun. >_< But it sounds like it might improve your quality of life. Fingers crossed everything works out. :huggles.

nods I can see it being something that K would love laughs :D

So last night I woke in agony because of extreme pain at the top of my foot. So guess what, it started up again when I was trying to take a nap because it had been such a terrible night. And I wound up going to the doctor again. He cut a window around the area to see what was going on. I have a HUGE rash, some parts are redder than others. >.< So he's put a small amount of gauze over it and put a bit of wrap that I can remove on top. Now I can access the rash area and put cortizone cream on it, ice it or let it breathe without anything touching it. He thinks that'll work. I'm allergic to so many things it could be an allergy to the cloth--or it could be heat--not really sure but none of the rest of the foot is having problems so neither one of us wanted to take the cast off lol.
Paddy- I need that wearable myself lol I love ducks :D though it does look harder to pair with things At least we know now we've got foot problems.
Pinkpanther- yeah that's about the summation.
I'm hoping they'll release some more background items that will work with the duck pond.... although maybe that's just a hint I should be getting on with trying to draw a CW myself laughs
Ouch, that rash sounds nasty :( But I guess at least it's down to the rash and not a deeper foot problem, so hopefully it won't be too hard to get it under control! squishes

ooh the cw could be cool. Well it happened again twice. About 20 minutes ago i cut it off because I had reached a ten on the pain scale. And thats saying something. It hurt so much. I have another rash across my ankle and it honestly looks burned. My entire foot is swollen. I think its an allergy. I just couldn’t take the pain. It was worse that the plantar fasciitis! I cant even explain how intese the burning stabbing pain is. But i felt relief seconds after cutting the wrap off. Granted i will hurt walking but i was done with that. I will call when they are open. I wonder if it’ll be just going to crutches or if he’ll rewrap with a sleeve around the foot first.
I've had that kind of burnt skin irritation / rash on my hands before, and it's incredibly painful - it'd be worse on the top of your feet though, as I'm sure the skin there is more sensitive :K Odd question, but did the doc put any cream or anything on your skin before he put the soft cast on?

oh I am so sorry for that. :/ Hmm...no I don't recall. why?
Just curious really, as I have a feeling that the really burnt kind of irritation / rash I had, was a reaction to an eczema cream (it looks sunburnt at times normally, but this looked like 'proper' burns and was a heck of a lot more painful!)....

I would imagine so. :D If parent can make clothes last longer and have the kid love wearing it too, its win win. ;)
Not what you needed right now. >_< Glad you were able to get some relief, hope things get better for you soon. :hugs:

ah I see. I've had that feeling with a pain relieving spray ironically.
I had a vet apt for Melody as she's developing more rashes. So she's got some new meds to try. If the antibiotic proves too hard for her tummy, she'll have to have it injected. And the other med is a steroid. If the rash reappears after the steroid is done, then we'll have to move to long term meds. Hopefully this will do the trick. Poor thing.
And lol I'm having a great go of it myself as I had to go back to doc since I cut my cast off this morning. Couldn't handle the pain any longer. Huge rash and swelling. And he's re-wrapped it and if this doesn't work then shot in the foot or surgery are my only options. 😔
I think when I was little if my trousers started going through on the knees, Mum just converted them into shorts instead laughs :P
it seems ridiculous that some things that are meant to be ideal for skin conditions or to relieve pain, are the ones that seem to cause the most problems o.O

Sorry you have to deal with added stress of Melodys rash as well. :squishes: Sounds maybe like surgery would be the most permanent solution for you at the least.
We would do that with jeans, and turn them into denim shorts instead. :) It is def. the easiest "fix". lol

hopefully today is going a bit smoother for Melody and you! ;)
I never tried doing that with jeans (my old jeans get relegated to gardening jeans until they fall apart completely laughs) but that would work really well, especially if you like the frayed hem style, so you didn't have to bother hemming them properly ;)

lol such is my life ;) well it might be, but it's not like we've got the money just stashed away so trying to come up with it will be a challenge.
it was a really tough day. I had a hard time managing melody with this foot :/
True, I bet it would be expensive to get the surgery done. >_< l
I actually think they look better with a frayed hem. :D And look really nice with a simple tshirt in the summer. :D

that's definitely not going to be easy, especially if she's feeling more comfortable with her skin problem and is busy wanting to run around / get you to play tug every three seconds!
I've only ever had one pair of frayed hem jeans before (they were a cropped pair in a long length, so I could wear them as full length jeans without needing to alter anything :P) as I've never felt confident enough to try a raw frayed hem on a pair I've made! 😊

oooo I love the HA today :D
Has Melody learnt to fetch things yet? Just thinking if she likes tennis balls, you could roll the ball for her without needing to move around quite so much?
