You must mean the big Ford van. Do you like working on old cars more than new ones? At least the old ones were designed well and made sense so you could fairly easily work on them. (My 1st husband was a mechanic.) I have heard many say that some of the new designs today are just stupid. I don't know which car, but there is one you have to remove the fender before you can change the battery.

I'm doing that out of curiosity, what little I know is this may be a 302 V8. Modern cars are heavily reliant on electronics and computers. Older models are easier because of the more mechanical approach. The Dodge Stratus may be the one you refer to, the battery is located in the front driver side wheel well.
