Zo, what manner of death to the 49ers?

Mine no care, but the stoopid bowl is nest week...

So, the internet was down today, all day. I couldn't stay at home and watch the 49 Football Men on my lurking device and had to make the journey out of Healer's Vale, past Market Rock and down the hill to the Skunk and Stoat Bar and Grill where the humans gather on Sundays to watch games on all the Televisions in the bar. Mr and Mrs Grubner really pull out all the stops on these game days and it's become quite a tradition amongst the humans to gather and really celebrate the games. More so when the teams are from San Francisco. Even more so when the other team is from the World of the Lost Angels. Needless to say, the place was packed and rocking! What a rivalry, what a game! The air was electric with excitement.

What the humans didn't see was the hundred or so small animals up in the rafters who were also watching the game. Weasels, badgers, squirrels, wolverines, mink, skunk, porcupine and a couple of foxes (they were making out in the back and stealing the skunk's ale.) The wee creatures aren't really invested in the game so much as they are fascinated by the spectacle of watching something that the humans are interested in. Very few of the animals really know what's going on in the game, they know very little about downs, punts, hikes, field goals or play action. But American Gridiron Football catches like a fever and by the end of the game, not a few animals had the blood lust in their eyes and their tails fluffed up three sizes bigger than normal.

I don't profess to understand anything about AGF but I love watching the 49 Football Men play. I'm sad that they lost today, but the silver lining is that a team from the world of California will get to go to the Super Bowl and we get two weeks of Holiday to celebrate in anticipation of getting to watch all those funny adverts on the tele. I will also have to reimburse Mr and Mrs Grubner for the three kegs of ale, four cases of honey roasted peanuts, two one-hundred pound bags of unpopped popcorn, two 40 pound tins of butter-flavored popcorn oil, three fifty pound bags of frozen hot wings, five gallons of hot-wing dipping sauce, and a case of sanitary toilet-seat covers that were stolen. I hope he takes silver bars....

The badgers call the toilet seat covers "human party hats," and think it's the funniest thing in the world. There is nothing sadder than a drunk badger wearing a toilet seat cover around her neck, staggering about laughing her head off. It's a side of Master Harriet the Wise we are not very familiar with...and boy, she's going to feel as stupid in the morning as she looks right now...

By the way, it's not a good idea to try to drink hot wing dipping sauce straight out of the gallon jar it comes in. It comes out way too fast and you cannot lick yourself clean enough after a dipping sauce shower.

: I think that the 49 Football Men will go home and have a good cry. I don't think that they will be locked away in the dungeons of the Sheep of The World Of The Lost Angels, or have to wear dunce caps (or toilet seat covers) or be forced as sword point to kick a rock as hard as they can. They will have a holiday, cash their gold bars, go to exotic lands like Mendota California and eat hot wings with honey sauce that isn't really made with honey. Remember, they did their job, which was to lose according to Ceaser's prophets and prophetesses, and their job is done. They made a lot of people rich.

- thank you! Today seems like the first real day because I would have been off on the weekend anyway...last night did not have to set my alarm for this morning and I didn't wake up till 7:45! I don't remember the last time that has happened. Feels so good...baking bread this morning and relaxing with my coffee. I can get used to this! :)

- hoping your Jury Duty is just one and done today. There was a stretch of time when I was called for Jury Duty every year...and without fail I'd end up on a case. I thought it was interesting and enjoyed the process for the most part...later though I got tired of it and always tried to postpone. I'll be interested in how it goes for you today.

it was a mini "vacation" for me last week being sick and recuperating and not having to go to work, though I was happy to be back today. I shall vicariously enjoy retirement through your posts! Making bread! wow! and Yum!

Thank you, we are recovering. This feel so much like the last time (22 months ago) so maybe I really DID have covid then but since I didn't't have access to testing, I will never know. I am taking it slow now. Gave myself extra time to walk to school and planned a nap after work, but that didn't't happen. Maybe I will have the discipline to go to bed early today...

Good luck with jury duty. (I could probably be one of those who drops their smartphone on their face. I have attached to it an elastic torn from a disposable mask and at times have to thread it around my wrist or fingers so it won't fall all the way to the floor when I fall asleep...) ;)

waves hello Say, is that one of 's little ones riding in your cap? Maybe all that noise from the NFC and AFL championships made him/her want to hide out for a bit. I watch both those games on Sunday and thought they were extremely exciting! I am looking forward to Super Bowl Sunday for sure!

This random event confused me first glance - Oracle quest? oh no item

The Oracle... It takes a outstanding character to convince someone like a Vioran to choose to stay somewhere.

That's how his story of Vioran Soldier ends, he'll spend the rest of his half lives finding her place of origin.

Well good news! I enjoyed my time with my grand daughter and snuggling with her. How is doing? Nice BHH item!!! Congrats! I was checking to see who would catch my error on amount. I tossed that many snowballs, because I choose random option, its faster. It took at least 3-4 hours, while I listened to an audio book or watched tv. Did I mention I was bored out of my mind, but determined to finish tossing as much as I can before the deadline in March.

it's good that you can still visit your family, if it goes on like this we will soon get contact bans again. times are hard and i don't think it's getting any better. i saw a documentary on tv and the professor said that covid will continue to mutate, which is typical for viruses and by the end of this year everyone will have been infected once. i think so too. thank god the courses, thanks to the vaccinations, are no longer quite so bad. we have many infections that we can live with, with medication. why don't they research a medicine so we can live our lives normally again, instead of trying to control it? you can't control viruses, we learned that in school. that's so typically human. i think the best thing is to always listen to your gut and protect yourself, your friends and your family. take good care of yourself Sydney.

Another bout of automotive frustration. Mine friend needed help removing the fuel tank from an Escalade, to then remove the fuel pump...

I agreed to come noting I would have to leave at 17:00 to be home for a Zoom meeting. I got as far as partially dismounting the tub, but was stuck at removing the fuel line even with the tool.

Playing garage monkeys isn't the same anymore, it seems this guy is less on task than when we could do the same in a few hours. I wonder if he even bothers researching the job, we often go blindly and sometimes make novice mistakes.

I'm glad to be able to help, in any capacity. This guy has seven vehicles to make an old man from him.
