Bears! What a day!! I'm exhausted but in a good way :) This was my last day of work and I dropped off my computer/monitors at the office and I"M DONE! I feel so free!! Yay! It's hard to believe but after dropping off all my stuff it felt really real for the first time. Yay!! just got home...hit the bath house and now will hit the hay :)

Abyss ... though appropriate, seems to lean my brain towards the dark abyss of sadness, soo... yeah. Well, it’s the beginning of week three after surgery and my dr said I might need to stick to fluids since even thinned cereal stuck in my throat. Whew. Beginning to hate hello! Lol. Other than that and being cold I’m doing fine.

a liquid diet sucks! When I was a kid I got a horrible injury on my lower cheek and couldn't eat for several weeks, could barely open my mouth. Luckily I didn't have problems swallowing, but I could only eat through a straw. I got so sick of thinned out milkshakes and broth was both boring and totally unsatisfying. I still remember the first solid food I was able eat, it was the best tasting thing ever!

HUGS I know recovering from surgery isnt easy, been there done that. Take one day at a time, and soon you will have recovered and reap benefits from the surgery. The 49 Football Men are going to the Second-Or Third-To-The-Biggest Game tomorrow! They are playing against the Sheep From the World Of the Lost Angels! I hope the 49 Football Men Win! I will be watching the game on my lurking device, providing the internet that I steal keeps working. If it isn't, Me and about a hundred small animals are going to have to have a raid on Mr Grubner's Skunk and Stoat Bar and Grill tomorrow. I hope he makes a lot of french fries. , nice that you are back, without you something is missing here. but what news do you bring? good that your husband had no sympthoms, although i personally think it would be better, because it shows that the body defends itself. here some of my neighbors have been infected although all are boosted, with omicron and mild flu sympthoms and all were healthy again after 5-7 days. oh man, the whole thing will probably stay with us and we will learn to live with it, as we can with other diseases.
