: If My Author could ever get to the world of Texas he would love to visit Mr. and work on cars. Right now though, Mark's car is leaking water. The Ford automobile dealership says it's the water pumping thingie and that in a 2013 Explorer a broken water pumper could ruin an engine because it (the pumper thingie) is inside the engine, not stuck on the front of the engine like every other engine in the world. A replacement engine is $8000. Also the PTC (a box of gears, pulleys, wheels and winches that makes all the tires turn) seems to have broken and that's going cost $3000 to repair. One day the car was paid for and driving and the next day it was being towed away incurring debt. Maybe the Jesus Bolt broke and the wings fell off....I will stick to flying.

Removing a tranfer case doesn't seem so difficult, the class in manual transmissions did that with a truck brought in by our instructor.

Zo, disconnect the driveshafts, disconnect everything of the transfer case, remove the crossmember, etc...

Mine gknow raising the vehicle makes al the difference, which may be a problem for garage monkeys. But overall the process can be done relatively fast.

Mine would motion a visit to mine friend to take on such a task. He's the brain to mine brawn, an he'd be helpful in other parts.

Another inexplicable surge of energy today. Just task after task, with a pause to quest here an there.

It seems chilled, slightly overripe cactus fruit is easy to peel. Zo, packing some more fruit can be done in less time.

[edit] Several hours later, the surge is spent. The result is some dishes washed, another container of cactus puree, and fresh churned ice cream. Now mine in a spot, mine need to eat but mine isn't hungry. Mine gknow mine have to eat, zo it'll be forced down. Not a pleasant task, but at least a small dessert can help to ease the meal down.
