you are dear, all of you...
whats happend with Chook.. ???

Just got back from running errands with the family. Tomorrow we are going to go for a walk in a nearby Provincial Park to look at everything covered in a new layer of snow. It snowed a couple of days ago and I think it's supposed to snow tomorrow too. Try not to loose your voice from all the yelling, which sounds like fun. What a great way to let out some STEAM! Is it going to be a superbowl party or just you and the family?

HUGS I know, I want so bad for my Ringo and Roxy to be the puppies they were when I got them, so I could enjoy them in my life one more time. They were litter mates, best combination ever. We were lucky to have discovered one of their other litter mates, she was owned by one of the people who worked at the animal shelter. She saw Roxy, when my son took her to find Rondo/Ronnie. The lady was shocked, and full of questions. Her dog was one of the females, and she was an exact copy of Roxy except more black markings, and a deep red color. I got to see a picture, if i saw her on the street I would know in a second she was the sister to Ringo and Roxy. Unfortunately, she to passed with age my son told me. Ronnie was so good with Roxy in her old age, she was the other he needed. He came to us frightened of everything, his former owner was abusive to him.
Thanks dear.Hope all is well there. Hugs What's up with the strike through the name??? I started her in the boots when she was a pup so she is used to them. But it was funny in the beginning LOL
Yes.I asked for info.to see if she is ok but not allowed to even discuss anything about it.I tried. :(
Once an account is frozen the only way to talk to the user is offsite somewhere, unfortunately. If she is self frozen she could come back at any time.
, , , , , Love You, here's the hugs, (you didn't squeeze too hard Andreas, little weasel-girls are quite flexible.)
I have been reading a lot during this blah season...
I set a goal last year to read 12 books...12 crummy books in a year....one a month. That didn't happen what with COVID and everything else, I only managed to read 8. And I'm a voracious reader. I can read a book in a day or two. I
n September, I discovered the Wingfeather Saga, a series of 6 books and I devoured them in 1 week before Christmas. Yay! 13 books, I met my pathetic yearly goal.
This year, I want to read 24 books, and I started with The Ashtown Burials (scary good) and then The Green Ember series (12 books about rabbits with swords...right up my alley). That's 18 since Christmas and 15 for the new year. I'm now on the Mouseheart series, 3 books about mice with swords. I like animals with swords, it reminds me of my story, which is essentially about weasels with swords.
If you want to see what the Wingfeather series is all about, the Angel app on Android and iOS will let you stream the show for free. It's a pretty faithful adaptation of the book so far. Three episodes so far, six the first series that will cover the first book. Season 2 is in production. There is supposed to be 4-5 seasons to cover all 4 books. The broadcast is a great start to the books.
I have listened to 497 books since Jan 25, 2020, I had to check I use LIBBY app from public library on my cell. I listen a lot doing house work, guys are watching football I listen to books even while I am cleaning and cooking, yard work. Did you read the Redwall series by Brian Jacques? I love it, I read the series when my sons were in elementary. I have been addicted to book since the first or second grade. I am also reading Spare by Prince Harry, I didn't want to wait until the LIBBY app had it. I have been know to read 3-4 books at a time. When my sons were in elementary I read a book with each of them (3) and then one of my own. I should have been a librarian of an old library with all the wonderful smells of old books.
: I have read many of the Redwall bookstand I love them. I learned about them shortly after I finished the rough draft of my first three manuscripts about life here in Glen Meadow and I was shocked and pleased at how similar they were to some of th events that took place here during our civil war. The main difference in Brian Jacques world and mine is that good animals and bad animals are clearly defined by their species. I.E. weasels are bad, mice are good, Foxes are bad, badgers are good...etc. In my story, any animal can be good or bad and it's not limited to their species. I.E. weasels are good, mice are food. (LOL)
I'm not a good listener, auditory input is my lowest form of learning and retention, plus I have severe tinnitus and so, after a while, I just tune out and have auditory hallucinations about the doorbell ringing or explosions outside. You have read a prodigious quantity of literature. I am very impressed.
I shocked myself when I checked on my Libby app on how many books I have listen to. I even listen to book while on subeta or even crocheting. I have tinnitus to, and hearing loss. My hearing aids can be use to listen to anything off my cell. I wish your manuscript would be published I love to read it all.
You're way ahead of me in reading...so are you . Wow I always hated reading as a child until i saw the comics. Then i started reading quite regular. When i got into the medical branch military i was reading all the time.I don't mind reading at all.I won't be setting any goals.I'm stuck on the bible right now and the apocrypha..as well as an American vet prayer book i have just been given. :)
I got hooked young on reading, and I feel incomplete without reading or listening to books. I have a kindle full of books, I take to Egypt or when ever I travel. I constantly download books on kindle, so I wont lack for books while traveling. I find that everyone has a preference to reading books that interest and appeal to them. Once a person finds their preference, they will really get into reading. I am into mysteries, thrillers, history, biographies and autobiographies, so I will never lack for an interesting book.
I'm seriously thinking of having my author narrate and audio record my books (in their rough draft form) so that they're available for friends to at least hear my stories. He can read them without spelling and grammar errors...LOL.
