That's the product of a serious student, it helps that taking one course per semester won't put a big load on me.
That is my 40 year old anthem, I bought on iTunes a few days ago. I will play it on my 40th, and when me and my friends go to say good riddance to any prospect. And a couple hours worth of similar music to let off 22 years worth of anger.
Honestly, what are they gonna do when I say NO? Leave me? I'm petrified...

sorry about those! I had a nearly one on Friday. Miss is as good as a mile! However, I did have an unusual experience this sabbath: a new friend stayed over, and she came with her 18 year old son whom she did NOT tell me has some condition. He walked into the house, saw my dog, and ran back out for 5 hours. Missed the Friday sabbath meal entirely (we all looked for him beforehand). My son took poor Hunny into his unit for the night and Avi tied her up outside during the day. Fella finally turned up and his mom gave him cereal and cake for dinner. Numerous attempts talking with him about compassion for the old dog fell in deaf ears. Strange kid.

:3 Had a sad day yesterday. Don't really know why. Just suddenly really sad for the rest of the day. But today was better. Took a shower, saw my sorta sister (who's sadly leaving soon), had a meal with family, watched a movie (Raya) at home with two of my sisters and watched some sweet and funny tiktok compilations on yt (dnd themed). Feeling good rn. :)

You like nicknames to end on the same 'ee' sound don't you? ;3 My mom did similar with my sisters and I. We all end with an 'ah' sound, so when she called us all we would hear is 'mumble-mumble-AAH!' We didn't know which she had called, so as the youngest, I of course had to be the one to answer the call.. --' le sigh

My clan (Wheezle VonSteubes) originated in the Black Forest of the world of Germany, and so given names follow clan naming guidelines, ie traditional German names, Latin or Greek historical figures, or names from mythology. Here in the world of America, and more specifically, the Sierra Nevada, our tribe tends to name their offspring with botanical or mineralogical names. ( Jasper Honeysuckle comes to mind). But my family is a bit iconoclastic and give nicknames that end in “i “ or the “ee “ sound simply because it’s cute. A tradition that began with Greatgrandpapa Friedrick the Grand, for whom I am named, and for whom I received my nickname…Freddie!

[I]Finí![/I] All my assignments and corrections are turned in and graded. I have only to review the overall material for any final exam. Though I'm uncertain if any exam will be conducted, I do know the class will need to be present for our certificates. I'm going for a longshot about my car's alignment be done on campus. I have to ask, I know I can do an acceptable job.
[Edit] And...I also received my new axle, and wasted no time in the replacement. I could finish before sunset, but will wait until tomorrow to test drive.

|| || Ooo, I know! There's so many pretty trees to choose from! <3 And I actually haven't re-did it yet. Haven't felt like it. I've been feeling lazy. Could be because I've also been manic as hell and can't focus on one thing (like talking, decorating, creating HAs). . . unless it's like a video game. Then I'm manic, but can just focus on the game and eventually get tired. ^^;
Sadly, my tree in RL is one of the fake kinds. My hubby's sister bought a new tree and gave us her old one. And sadly, no nostalgia ornaments. Growing up we moved quite a bit within just the one town, and so hand crafted ornaments and stuff, have been lost. And it actually just depends on my mood. It would probably be in the end a form of both uniform in color/theme with nostalgia ornaments tossed in.
Honestly, I don't think I can ever recall a time when we owned a real tree. I do know that eventually Hubby would love to get a real tree to put up and decorate. Not sure how that'll go over with our kitties. . . ^^;
Oh no! That's horrible your parents caught COVID all those months ago, though I am happy they're better now! Yeah, my dad's 62 now. He doesn't really do much in the way of decorating for Christmas. That's my lil sister who lives at home with him. She bought herself her own lil white light up tree for her bedroom. My Mom passed away in Feb. 2019 at the age of 55 from a heart attack. She was the glue of the family. And she was the one who always decorated at Christmas time.
I understand where you're coming from. The smell of a real tree and the feel of it is vastly different from a fake one. I would love to eventually buy two to three trees, two the same one different, and put one of the same up and decorate it in the house and the other two to make centerpieces/wreathes with. Tho. . . I would have to buy the machine that helps you make said wreathes and that would be a pretty penny ^^; g sniff.

... yes it works again... I could the last few days in no forum, nothing post and have also sent nothing, because I thought it might not arrive...the wardrobe is a goat and annoys me constantly, but.... just don't give up...i don't get all the stuff displayed and when i want to change everything hangs up after a few pages, very annoying.... most of the time i get logged out automatically after some time, then clean cache and everything unimportant, log in and it works again... but what would be lumi if there were no glitches and failures... think the next gau comes when free store is there or the cw black friday...

my little brother was here yesterday and it's so hard not to cry, but that's not good and i think then he wouldn't come to me at all.... he has to have a head surgery now... the 18th... actually he has the appointment on the 23rd but he wants to be home for christmas.... i am a total christmas junkie, but there is no mood at all....
my little one is losing more and more weight, you can watch it.... she sleeps a lot, suddenly eats 3 times as much, but is getting thinner and thinner... her face has changed, she looks sad... my friend says she got a "granny" figure.... Püppi is now 13 years and I hear this small, quiet voice that you do not want to hear... what a bad, really bad end of year....
