Seconded. I'm sure Staff thought about it. Brainstorming how to prevent this next year, sure, but if it's not distributed after months...is the current dataset really salvageable where it still has to be delayed?

If the green sparkle border was able to be awarded to people who quested for three of the days, would similar information be available to see the users who quested for half the days or more of the quest-a-thon? If so, that would feel appropriate and still tied to the quest-a-thon.

I raised a ticket about this last month as I too was wondering when the gold sparkle border specifically would be distributed.

I did quests for all but one day, with a GA I bought specially and even did Sarah's quests. Due to RL commitments I'd missed opportunities to get the gold sparkle border before, so really dedicated the time during this event to get it.

To echo everyone else's concerns, hearing that the distribution of the border likely won't be tied to the quest-a-thon sucks. I participated for the border, not for the hoodie or anything else.

I always try to remain upbeat about the site and completely understand the various site-based and RL pressures staff are under. I'm wary of sounding bitter over something that is frankly trivial, but the way this has been handled ain't it.

There are some good ideas in this thread. I hope however it is distributed it is done fairly and in line with the commitment that those who did all their quests every, or near-to, every day.

I did all my quests specifically for the border, and I got really burnt out doing them. I don't care if other people get it, even if they didn't participate. But I don't want to have to do anything else to get the border that I already worked for, and I shouldn't have to.

If you're going to give it out another way please don't put any more time intensive requirements on it.

I'm not interested in the border myself but I can understand the frustration of people who worked very hard in hope of winning it.

If getting the border ends up like the Teahouse I'm guessing a lot of people won't bother with another Quest-a-Thon unless they want another pet slot or something like the Loyalty Points which were one of the prizes for achieving 2 million quests.

I dont see me doing the next quest a thon cuz I dont see anything coming from the hard work we done, me I dont care about the borders. I'm looking forward to trick or treating tho

Yea I also put in extra hard work everyday to see others get the gold boarder but that's alright I would like to see the others get a gold boarder that worked for it and want it.

though i did do all quests every day, im not really bothered about the border at this point. but they should just give it to everyone and give something else next time as people have suggested..

You got a pet slot, a wearable, 5 referral points, and the green border.

Saying that you got "nothing" is downright ungrateful.

What exactly is the issue that you cannot calculate the users who passed the threshold? Weren’t the quest counted individually, just the days you did a quest? (Similar to how the green border was distributed?)

Couldn’t you maybe calculate the minimum amount of days required for questing that necessary amount and distribute the border to everyone who quested on x days during that event?

It might award people who didn’t reach Top 100, but I don’t think many people would care anymore at this point. Every little quest helped to reach that overall goal ❤️

Sopheroo Im not saying that I got "nothing" the items I received was great just wish others got the gold border that collects boarders. I dont even want the gold boarder. I'm sorry if I offended you and sometimes I word things wrong sorry for that I just worked hard and see others wanting that gold boarder so bad and cant get it next quest a thon I'm out will come on to do my dailies that's it

I think starting the next event (morostide) is gonna look real bad if the questathon border isn't addressed in it somewhere. :l

I keep forgetting that we are still "owed" a border lol, I put a lot of work into the quest-a-thon in the hopes of getting it sure, but the other prizes (especially the referral points) were amazing! It would be cool to get a new border but it wouldn't be the end of the world. I just want Morostide to start!! haha

I made time to do every quest every day and like... I wanted to get both the gold and blue borders since this was my first QAT. Honestly, I'd be cool if they just gave them out to everyone already!!

Halloween is here and this still isn't resolved... I did all the quests during Questathon, every single one, plus two Wizard bonus quests I was blessed with. I know I would have been in the top 100. I understand the issues that arose and I've been patient, but I would really like to have the border that was promised..

Hey, can we discuss the fact that the pet slot we were given was also given in the wrong category - it's in the same category as CSC pet slots, rather than being with other quest-a-thon pet slots.

With Black Friday coming up, that could be a bother if we get more pet slots D:
