Maybe allowing people this last QaT to do Sarah quests ( those who had more than 750k/1m [ and let a friend hold onto their money ] or w/e the sP limit is now, but think is it now just accounts 6months or less ), caused a problem?

I wonder this because the last QaT, iirc unless you met the criteria for Sarah quests, they were not counted and the Gold border went out just fine.

you were allowed to do whatever you wanted (send money to friends, forum group bank, etc etc) to gain access to sarah's quests for both the 2020 and the 2021 quest-a-thons, so that should not have effected anything? who told you that they weren't being counted?

In fact, most people gamed with forum groups to make sure that they could do Sarah and Saggi, or liquidated their pure by turning it into tokens/Morty Cards/CSC cards. Or you know, other ETS items that they could easily turn back into SP if needed

There are just so many ways to just game Sarah.

lol I totally forgot about it. I assumed I somehow didn't get top 100 despite doing every day's quests.

i have no horse in this race because i didn't do all the quests every day, just enough to get the green border (which, ha. i've posted about that debacle before) but i just want to add that the constant locking of feedback forums whenever problems are brought up? suuuuuuuuper not a good look lmfao. honestly surprised this one is still up.

The only alternative for me would be a clickable, akin to the pride one, at this point.

Yeah, I wanted to get one of the borders (I think it was the green one) but I'm lazy so I really had to push myself to quest.

I prefer the pet slot to the borders prize-wise, but I know many other users aren't going to be happy with this new development.

Perhaps it's better to not give out borders as a prize for future quest-a-thons then.....

is that table no longer something that you can use, or what, like what happened to that

Honestly not giving the boarder out to people who participated in the last quest-a-thon is pretty sad. You are punishing people who actively participated in the event and that's just not cool. I understand running a site like this is extremely difficult and mistakes will happen, but the solution isn't to just pull it from the quest-a-thon prizes for this year.[/p]

I like this idea. It seems fair, even if they didn't do all their quests on those days, they still showed commitment.

Forreal just give it to everyone and make a new color next QAT, genuinely I don’t even care if people who have never quested in their lives get the border.

I don't think that we should have top X prizes at this point. It seems like they overcomplicate things, and cause a lot more drama than they should.

Give prizes for number of quests completed, yes. But making the userbase fight amongst itself isn't cool.

I feel like with this recent development players are probably not going to participate in future Q-A-Ts at the same level of dedication (or potentially ANY future site-wide competition). What's the point in crushing questing every single day only for your hard work to potentially be for nothing?

There have been some great suggestions in this thread on giving out the gold border that sound fair! But I hope something is done soon because the longer this drags out it's just going to make the whole situation "feel" worse. :X

PLZ NO D: I love competitions and nobody is fighting amongst themselves, we’re fighting FOR everyone else.

I would like to see the border go out now, and then next year change up the color. There are lots of colors out there...

The Quest-a-Thon is collaborative. But having a reward for the top 100 only isn't.

Hydragellos Core has been awarded to people that did cumulative damage in the recent past, rather than the top X or whoever did the final blow, which ended up bringing less salt to the table.

I'd rather reward collaboration by having prizes given to people who do X number of quests, rather than having everyone compete to be the top cat. This goes against the spirit of the event.
