time. Battle Quest

So....last night I dreamed that they reset the challengers and made new weapons for like...the 10th win for all the opponents (just the default ones). When I got up this morning, I had to check that it was just a dream and didn't really happen...

Gotta love those whacky dreams that involve Subeta... maybe one day a good one will come true... :p

I have a question about weapons sets and while I appreciate the many guides and all the folks here who have spent hours creating them, and helping others . . . I can't figure this out, nor can I find the answer.

So, here it is: Is there a limit to the number of weapons sets in the armory??

I have five (tiers one thru four and I just created a seven from a set that was tier six) but--

I need to develop a set for tier 5 and I can't find a link/button to add additional sets.

I have pets of varying levels of training and I need several sets for all the tiers between 1 and 7. (I recently adopted two MORE pets and everyone battles so those little guys are only tier 1)

It doesn't make sense, though, that there would be a limit of only five sets. I'm certain I'm not the only player who trains everyone because I've seen people selling 25 copies of a book they just won by battling with 25 pets. And it would seem odd to assume that al the pets are at the same level since it takes time and commitment to bring up pets, reading, training etc. :)

You can only create 5 scroll sets and 5 weapon sets when you are using a GA. Non-GA users can only create 3 sets, but as long as you edit and not delete the set, you can still keep all 5 without a GA

I have multiple battle pets and I train them all together so they are in groups of the same tier. I have a group of T13, group of T11 and group of T8/T9 atm. Yes it takes a lot of commitment and battles to have it such that they grow together. They all have different builds and not enough sets to tailor scrolls to their builds but I make do for now.

: Much like Wesker, I have 15 pets that I train/battle with, but many of them are in tier groups (2 at T12, 1 T9, 8 T8, 3 T7, 1 T5). Sometimes I can get away with using the same set for multiple tiers too (when most of my pets were T7/6, I used a T6 set for all of them).

It'd be nice to be able to have more weapon sets to match more tiers, but that's how most of us make do with the current system, I think.

Also agree that it would be nice to be able to save more sets. I do clump my 40 some pets into Tier groups and generally remember variations between close Tiers so I do make the current system work. Simply saving a set for each Tier would be easier though.

Im lazy and just use tiered weapons outside my t11+

I know right? Maybe one day one of them will come true...though I'm not sure how people would take a battle reset...

I started with most difficult and worked down for Normal and Secret. I'm currently on farming tomes from Medium difficulty. Haven't done much for Cash Shop challengers yet. Not ready for reset lol.

I would be so game for a reset. 😂 My main has earned every possible tome from the opponents. I literally have nothing else to farm*. * Well, I'm missing ~25 old CS challengers. Purchased all the imps and a solid amount of extremely hards, but the rest it's hard to justify the CSC price of 250csc. But also, these guys don't drop tomes!

I'm working with my T9 through some grinding, but it's slow going.

If Cash Shop challengers are changed to drop tomes in the same pattern as Normal and Secret challengers, I'd be up for a reset lol.

Thank you both very much. Simply knowing that 5 is the limit helps me to see a way forward. I thought I was missing something, lol!!

I have used combo sets so I can continue doing that and simply remove the ONE T7 weapon that I recently added to my T6 set (after I battle with the 2nd of my pets who recently became T7). And as long as I keep that weapon (all modified and ready to go) in the armory, but out of the set, I think I can put it in and out of the set as needed, right??

So....I've forgotten what I used on The Mage the first five times I beat him...I am trying to beat him some more...what weapons/scrolls are good again? It could just be he's now gotten too strong...
