Onyx Storm is out but did you mean getting a copy from the library? Good luck reading i still need to get back to that series.
Stalingrad - Rupert Matthews
Been on a history readathon lately.
The Time of Contempt in The Witcher series
I finished Any Way The Wind Blows. I wanted it to be better than it was; it felt like the entire point of the 2nd book was to introduce one character for book 3.

In the meantime, I'll be starting Carpe Jugulum by Terry Pratchett. Not the Discworld book I was hoping to get, but someone checked out the only copy of The Hogfather literally two days before my most recent visit. Made me a bit sad, but I'm planning to work my way through all the Discworld books eventually, so it's not much of a loss, really.

Napoleon and the Awakening of Europe - Felix Markham
Read a few other books in the interim. Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust, which was a fantastic read about learning to accept yourself. The characters were amazing, they do a lot of learning and growing throughout the book and the main character was really relatable for me. The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith. Which I can recommend, wholeheartedly; the story is lovely, and if you like a good twist on faerie stories, you'll probably like this. But... you may want to wait for the sequel to come out next year. I certainly wish I had. I was just shy of crying from frustration when I got to the ending. It's very abrupt and while I don't like to be left hanging in general, where this book in particular leaves off is well short of ideal. I actually freaked out thinking it was a standalone novel as there's no indication anywhere in the book itself that it's to be continued in a second book; I had to go to the author's site to find that information. Last but not least, Legend of the White Snake by Sher Lee. I literally cried near the end of this book, the story is emotional and beautiful.

I just got my Amazon delivery of The Curse that Binds by Laura Thalassa so I'm excited to get into it this afternoon and see what Roxilana and Memons life was like. I really enjoyed Memon and Selene in Bespelled and Bewitched.
Just finished Savage Fae (second book of the Bad Boys of the Zodiac series).
Currently reading Heretics of Dune.
Oh, man. Life's been complicated, so it's mostly been easy reads for me. I finished the Blood Magic and Cursebreaker books (JT Lawrence), moved on to Until the World Falls Down (Jordan Lynde), and now I'm greedily sucking down the ACOTAR books (Sarah J. Maas). I'm trying to finish up the third book before I have to return the digital copy. (SO GOOD. SO SO GOOD. Totally blew away my expectations and enjoying it greatly.)
Just starting Hogfather by Terry Pratchett. I got impatient and ended up putting in a hold for it at my library when it wasn't returned on time. Their last physical copy went missing/was never returned over a year ago, and it was just replaced at the beginning of this year, so I've been a bit more... aggressive in trying to lay hands on it.

after this i'm planning to re-read "on earth we're briefly gorgeous" by ocean vuong because i've just been thinking about his writing a lot lately!
“take your time--nothing in nature blooms all year.”
🍯 currently: learning to be kind to myself 🌿
I went to see The Crucible this weekend, so I'm currently reading The Witches - Salem, 1962: A History.
Started Secrets for the Mad by Dodie last night. This is the last book I need for this year's reading challenge, so it's all personal and leisure picks from here. c': I was actually planning to read something fictional to fill this space, but then I spotted this book on the shelves during a recent library visit and could not resist.
