I just finished up Severance & The Penguin, also wrapping up the Harry Potter series for the first time too. I totally would have been a potter head if I had gotten into it as a kid.

I watched The Omen 2. A sequel to the classic it was scary but not as good as the original of course.

Moana. I’m taking my nieces to see the sequel tomorrow.

Went to see Wicked in the movies. It was fun, but a little too long perhaps, considering that they're making it into two parts anyway.

However, my realest gripe was realizing everything they say about teens in movies is true T__T We had to tell the teens next to us to shut up three times because they kept chatting without even lowering their voice, and literally everyone around us was on their phones throughout the movie, browsing tiktok or sending snaps???? movie tickets are egregiously expensive these days and then you don't even watch the movie? what are you guys doing???
Usually I don't mind teens but damn, that made me feel thirty.

I rewatched Oculus for like the billionth time.

I watched A Quiet Place for the first time a few weeks ago. Random bonus.. I rated it 3.5 stars on letterboxd? (but could lower it tbh T_T)

I watched The People's Joker like a few weeks ago, and it was easily one of my favorite movies I've watched recently. The People's Joker was such a blast! I have no idea how it was able to get made, but I'm glad it did! I really liked it as a DC fan, and I feel like there was a lot of passion and care, it did feel like the director was a fan of the comics because of all the little references. It was also queer as hell! I definitely recommend it!

I watched The Princess and the Frog for the first time in anticipation of my NOLA trip.

Finally watched all of the Alien and Predator movies! I enjoyed the Alien movies more at the beginning, probably because they had more of a "plot" or nuanced story but I got into the predator movies the further along we got. Prey in particular was absolutely excellent.

I saw Nosferatu again this weekend, and Wicked for the first time.

I watched Red One last weekend.

i saw "a real pain" this last weekend, really enjoyed it. keiran culkin was playing the same character he did on succession, but it captured how those kinds of people & places feel.

I loved Wicked too! I’ve been listening to the soundtrack a lot ever since I saw it. The movie really did justice to the story.

Nosferatu has such good vibes and was a really fun watch.

The last movie I saw was part of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban while I was on the treadmill this morning.

just saw the BRUTALIST and omg. so long. it had an intermission.

Per the request of my young nephew, we watched Masters of the Universe. He also asked to play with my Masterverse Faker figure, and to swap the armor and sword/shield.

BTW, he also asked to watch Clash of the Titans, by referencing a shield melting...

This little guy can make obscure references like the best...one detail at best.

I rewatched Gone Girl with my book club last week. Such a classic!
