Watched And then we danced (2019), a Georgian drama about traditional dancers falling in love. It was v pretty. Also watched Hereditary for the first time, I'm trying to challenge myself to watch more horror this year
Nobody.
I saw it pop up in the Xbox store recently. Don't really follow movie news, so I'd never heard of it before, but I checked out the trailer after seeing Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) was the lead. Looked like a good fun action flick.
Forgot about it until it popped up on Netflix a couple of days ago. Watched it that same evening.
Odenkirk playing a badass is brilliant.
watched Blues Brothers with friends last night for one of their birthdays and i regret to say that it's actually a banger of a film (<- played the music in marching band in high school but hasn't seen the movie until now)
banner by Watched The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent simply because I had seen memes about it and really liked the vibe it was giving off. Wonderful film, I really enjoyed it. Silly goofy fun times with Nic Cage & Pedro Pascal, with a daft on the nose plot. Would recommend :>
Finally watched Everything, Everywhere, All At Once...it was so utterly fantastic, I'm so glad it already got the amount of awards it got because it deserved every one of them. 😭 Already excited to watch it again sometime so that I can pay attention to backgrounds things!!
Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish
Omg I can't believe it took me this long to see this! ;; Loved it!
There's a free animated movie on YouTube called, FernGully the Last Rainforest, and it's pretty good. Even though it said it came out in 2022, it actually came out in 1992. Also, Robin Williams, the person who played the Genie from Aladdin, played a character in that movie.
I also watched The Dark Crystal, not only because it's also free on YouTube, but I am a Jim Henson fan, and so is my older brother. Follow that Bird is also free here, but I already watched it on HBO Max earlier this year, so I do recommend both movies if you are a Sesame Street/Muppets fan.
Went and saw the Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves in theatres a couple weeks ago and it was sooooo good!
Watched 3 movies in one day this weekend-
Pacific Rim - 4th time seeing this. Idc, I'm going to die on the hill that there has never been and will never be a movie as badass as this.
Plague Dogs ('82), and then When the Wind Blows ('86) - lumping them together because they're both equally horribly sad. I'm speechless.. I can only take some solace in the fact that apparently the book Plague Dogs has a happy ending. But the movie ends the way the author wanted before being pestered by editors, how grim :(
Watching DND Honor among thieves while questing and dancing.
Just watched Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse yesterday!
Yesterday I watched Arctic Void, didn't expect anything and was still a little disappointed. Watched Dune (2021) and it felt like it was directed by a group of snails. Pretty, though.
Today's movie is Marcel the shell with shoes on and I can already tell it's about to be one of my favourites of the year
Last movie i watched was Dodgeball. I've seen it before but my husband thought it would be a laugh to pop it on in the background whilst we cleaned the house.
Spoilers - We didnt clean the house and ended up chuckling along watching the film.
Watching Chevalier ! I love a good costume drama
