Leave it, I suppose. For me it really depends on the case and severity of the abuse. Not excusing it in any way but there is redemption for many who grew up having abuse modeled for them. As for worse cases - I don't condone torture but more like, I believe in occasional vigilante justice and I wouldn't say anything.
