I went with Ephraim for the vg. I don’t expect him to win, but seems good for feathers. Jumping over to Eirika once this bit is finished though.

I'm sitting on exactly 400 orbs atm. I've been a good girl! Pelleas was one of the units I was saving orbs for, but since he's gonna be in grails, I didn't need to spend orbs on him. Not sure what I am saving these orbs for now. Considering going back to the Brave banner to see if I can get a spare Gatekeeper to feed to Lyon or possibly to get Marth...

that's a fair point, you get a guaranteed 5 star unit with a forma soul, I never thought of it that way before but I don't use money to buy orbs so I didn't think that duh one buys orbs for gacha, not units :'D

Micaiah is a pass for me as well. The art is pretty, but no thank you. I think that to even out gender in legendaries, the next .. 2 or 3 legendaries will have to be female. Not sure IS will maintain that.

I broke 300 orbs recently, so happy. 8D With the comments about the upcoming TT being seasonal, I have no idea when to legit expect awakening but I'm glad it's being pushed forward so I can save.

- I wouldn't even be buying a pack for this one, cus I have enough of the summoning stones from sparking. But the forma soul orb pack is also the best orb per dollar deal of any of the packs. (apparently, my friend did the math, I trust her) [That's how my arm got twisted into summoning Winter Fae. lol] I also don't really like spending money on gotcha, cus it's basically gambling, but when the packs have guaranteed 5s units, they are more worth it for me (and the orbs you get on the side are kind of a bonus) I also bought the starter pack for Brave Lyn and the special bundle with NY azura. But otherwise, I haven't bought any orb packs, not since the year 1 Hector debacle OTL.

dare I even ask about the Hector debacle? xD I think not.

I feel like my gambling impulse arose as a kid from chocolate eggs with a rando prize in them. ;3; Those things are so dangerous lol.

- At least with the chocolate eggs you got a chocolate egg as a consolation prize. (I spent about $200 on orbs in one go trying to get Hector, got two pity breakers and ended with a 6% unresolved pity breaker cus I refused to spend more monies OTL)

I counted up how much I’ve spent on Feh and it was not good, but it was very sobering. Luckily I’ve been able to cut right back.

- The game hasn't given me your oboro yet. :( I keep getting the same three allies over and over, Leg Alm, Young Minerva, and Brave Ephraim OTL. They are all great, but it'd be nice if 2 of them weren't also axe users. gimme some diversity here!

Yeah, I hope they give Flame Seigmund a refine that doesn't have ally/enemy number restrictions. Solo eff would be ok, but the ># of enemies than allies eff that it currently has is not very helpful on infantry Ephraim.

I've spend about 70$ since that first year trying to get Hector. Less than 300 total. I've spent my money instead of Love Nikki OTL I've spent about 600 on that game in 4 years. They're really bad for making packs for $1 or $5 that come with a bunch of stuff, making it much easier to drop money on it, but it adds up OTL. Unlike FEH where it's like 20$ and all that gets you is enough orbs for 5 summons that will likely get you a bunch of useless crap.

oh man .. D: that sucks, with 200 dollars you should really be getting .. so much more T_T

what with all the praise for the new legendary art, I decided to focus on Effie again and did the impossible ... building up and merging up an armor unit xD it's so nice to max out on dragonflowers automatically as opposed to crying over red ones for almost a dozen infantry units T_T

oh that sucks really bad, I'm sorry! You really should've netted much more than that for that amount.

-- I did end up getting Micaiah when looking for Ashera/F!Edie mergers and she's a fine unit. I'm never unhappy about some more armour unit breakers. Also the next banner doesn't do anything for me, with any of the units. Usually there's at least one I like, but this time I guess i'm saving up mad orbs.

Ditto, the new banner is underwhelming. I was kind of looking forward to it based on its name and the hats (I like Lewyn's hat, yo), but they just feel same-y with their OG units. I mean at least give us new units to rot in alt hell. Idk. :l

There are some really good refines this time around! I’ve already spent the few on Ephraim and Eliwood. Might get Alm’s refine later.

The new banner… very pretty but I think I need to duck this one too. I don’t need any of the units and I’m still 58 orbs short for the legendary remix spark. I even swapped Oboro as team leader for LRyoma to remind me that he needs his extra merges. Hopefully I can make 160 before the banner drops.

Yeah, this banner is pretty meh. I like Nana's outfit, but most of them are just like.. their defaults with fancy hats. I kinda want Lewyn ... but mostly just for his skills. OTL.

Since I'll probably be skipping this banner too. I went back and poked the CYL banner again and picked up Marth (and a spare Leif, so now I have him +3 and no excuse to not use him in the TT, his B skill is great for chained battles) Power creep is really evident on these CYL units, at level 27 Marth had higher in every stat except res as my level 40 Lene OTL

I'm glad Flame Seigmund got it's weird counting enemies and allies effect to a solo effect in it's refine, that's what I was hoping for. I'll definitely be giving it to my OG Ephraim. Alm and Ephraim look like they are refined to be F.Edelgard counters, I'll probably give them their refines. Lyn's is kinda.... meh.

Agreed on the powercreep. My current arena team includes Brave Marth (+1 merge) and Eirika and they annihilate nearly everything they look at, no contest. To be fair, the CYL last year was pretty insane in terms of power levels, too. Downing Brave Edelgard was a huge chore for like, months after her release orz

My arena team is all still book 1 units, two are resplendent though, so that helps. But recently I've had to change their builds specifically to counter newer threat units like edelgards. I still dont have an answer for leg. Claude, when he shows up I'm like... there goes my streak OTL.

I'm using B!Eirika, Duo Caeda, L!Byleth, and Nott to get through multi-map battles and it's great but it's still not enough for recent maps. Powercreep... T_T

Fallen Edelgard is still wrecking TT for me, but unfortunately she can't take Muspell cus of his deep wounds, so she can't heal :( But Brave Eirika makes neat work of him. Silly cavalry dragon. lol. Leif is just being healer bot for Pelleas with his B skill and ardent sacrifice.

I didn't get anything from the new heroes, or the rerun FB banner... just a whole lot of 3 and 4 star blue units who aren't named Ilyana. OTL. Summoning slump.

I’m building summer Norne (needed a boost to my arena core), she’s so cheerful! 2 more merges to go, and I’m glad I had a spare Geese to feed her for flowing lance.

I spent the dew on B!Alm and he is wrecking stuff in TT, it’s so much fun. He’s paired up with Lewyn, LAzura and Mercedes. Lewyn is not a slouch either, it’s going fairly well.

Got another Seteth merge from the fb rerun, but nothing else. I’ve mostly got 3* from my free summons… guess I’m still paying for my good luck earlier this year.

Thank you! :3 I wasn't that excited when I pulled the pair but then I used them and you're right, duo Leif/Seliph is great. xD I swapped him with Nott and have been clearing more multi-map domains, yay free orbs. He pairs well with B!Eirika since he can go far out, attack twice, then get repositioned by her and not worry about dying on enemy phase and B!Eirika also gets to move out of the way due to her .. canto (I think that's what it's called lol I stopped closely reading most paragraphs of descriptions because too overwhelming :'D).

I feel like IS redeemed itself after my luck of late with pulls, so I'm happy. I hope RNG balances itself out in the end for everyone.

My TT team is Nott, Plumeria (I'm trying to get them to S-Support since I use them all the time anyway orz), standard Lewyn (who's still a fantastic unit) and Summer Hilda/Marianne. Muspell crashes into Nott and just dies, it's been much smoother than the first Nifl TT where Nifl just gave me so much trouble.
