Yes I'm about 20 miles south of Seattle. I forgot where you're at.
I'm glad it turned out good!! While you might not be a fan of cinnamon I think it takes quite a bit to really taste it. And now my mouth is watering! I may have to break down and make some - I hope I don't eat the whole loaf in one day. lol
I'm near Detroit. :)
Oh wow! We're far apart!! How's your week-end going? I'm almost done with my chores and only have a couple things left to do this week-end. Tomorrow I want to roast some veggies and I need to water my houseplants and that's all I HAVE to do. lol
We are! I have friends in the area so I may be out there eventually. :) My weekend is going well! Spending it quietly at home doing my few chores, haha :) I'm mostly looking at making a website for a friend and I's poetry. That's awesome! <3 What else is going on?
That's cool you have friends here! I would love to meet you! Oooh a website and poetry?! A woman of many talents!! 👏 I may try to do some sewing on Monday. I always have to get my courage up to deal with the sewing machine. :-P Although, the one I have now is friendlier than many I've owned. And I couldn't find the all red rhody on our dog walk today. :-(
it's very filling/satisfying because of all the protein and fiber, so I think it'd be okay if you did, but you probably won't.
Maybe if that's all you ate? 🤣
Oh I didn't know. So sorry for hear that. Hope she can be better soon.
Good Morning to everyone.
Today is my anniversary and hubby will be cooking me a new dish. I think it's called Rotini Casserole? hmmm, not sure on that.
everyone have a great day

If I get out there again I'll let you know. :) Hee, thanks. Sewing can be a trial! I bet this machine will treat you nicely, though. And awww, but okay. :)
I was thinking if I slice and freeze and then just eat an occasional piece...and I'm sure my daughter would love it! And lol at you saying if that's all I ate. I laugh because I love oatmeal so much I've often considered just eating a bowl of oatmeal for all 3 meals. ROTFL!!
She's so much fun and I really miss her and hope she's doing well!!
I'm holding you to that if you come out here!!
I can't find the rhododendron that looked so magical but this one is close:
The other one had no green showing just solid red!! 😳
The banana bread should freeze well and that sounds like a great idea.
Oatmeal is so good, I usually make it as a side dish to eggs and sausage :D
I don't make that promise idly, I promise. Gosh, that's super gorgeous.
I eat a bowl every morning with chicken strips. On the side. lol And I just discovered something about oatmeal - I always used to buy quick oats and accidently bought Old-fashioned. Well if I cook the old fashioned oats only 30 seconds longer in the microwave - they're just as good, if not better. Then I put chocolate almond milk and some chocolate syrup (sugar-free) on them. So yum!!
<3 <3 <3 Do rhodys grow all over where you're at? They're in almost very yard here and in all colors. Ours are purple and we have red and pink azaleas too.
I ... honestly don't know. We don't have any in our yard, anyway... hm. I'll try to remember to ask my roomie later; she's the plant person in the house. :)
sounds excellent. Chocolate is good in oatmeal! I usually make it with a cup of pineapple or pears and the juice, plus milk.
Got this from the internet: "Rhododendrons are not native to Michigan, but are very adaptable to our landscape. Azaleas and rhododendrons will do well with the right soil conditions and the proper planting location. Some of the smaller leaf varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas will tolerate more exposed locations."
Maybe too cold of winters there for them to be as prolific as they are here.
That sounds yummy! I love pineapple anything! Pears are good too but I'm not as obsessed with them. :-P
That makes sense. It gets BITTER here.
Yeah we get bitter for a minute or two every winter. :-P It's because we're so closed to Puget Sound. Whatever that means. :-D
