I have to remind myself its just a game, but dang hard pill to swallow. After working so long to get it, celebrate here with bears about it. Then nope you dont have the achievement, and you can like it or not.

Well basically I am a dumb dumb when it comes to size of forum signature, and I was in contact with a staff member working on it, and right when I was online working on it. I got an event, that I lost my forum signature privileges. Staff member had told me, size wasnt right. So I was talking to staff and another user. I got fed up, and didnt bother fighting it. Because I would much rather be here, than get more trouble because I dont understand sizing of forum signature.

I know, you can't even fanthom that I could have any pillows left with the babies, but honestly monkey has calmed down and croc is being a good boy ;) I know you are on a semi-hiatus but that means you can probably use a pillow now more than ever so you can just relax ;) stickers and pillows - they go together right? :D because my dear, you are always in our dreams.

yup, that show was funny, and I agree, he is jaded and just isn't very funny at all. I hardly watch the new show. At least we still have Subeta :) this is where we became friends :)

some pillows are just keepers :) I know, it is just a game. But it really isn't and is so much a part of our lives. We gather here and make friends and set goals and it is frustrating when there is a problem with any of those things.

I can't really blame him for being jaded these days. Age tends to do that.

Your right, I really cant look at being here as just a game. Because I have friends and family here, and its my escape from life to relax and enjoy. Problems here take moments from my fun here, that I hate have happening.

: This is my comfort place, I love it here so much that I even wrote a song about it and sang it and recorded it and essentially said that the Lair was my home away from home and that even if I rant or rave a little or act silly, the folks in the Lair still love me, even when I forget the lyrics of the song and get sidetracked by squirrels and burst into tears...somebody will always love me, hug me and give me a cookie. You have been one of my biggest advocates.

: I haven't watched the new Inuyasha's Kid vids either, they were recommended to me by another Lair Bear who is into Anime (more than I am!) and recently binged it. There's only one season so far and it's streaming on Hulu, which I have to borrow from DannyGyrrl because little weasels of the foothills can't get credit cards because grasshoppers and mice aren't currency that Visa or Mastercard trade in and you have to have one of those to get a credit card before you can get Hulu or Netflix or HBO Max or Amazon or Disney +++++ or The Biden Channel. Fornunately, I have very good friends who lend me their accounts so that I can watch those thingies on my Lurking Device, if and when I actually get wifi internet service up here in the sticks where there really isn't any cable or electricity or running water or Nixon Truthers.

: Luv Ya! I agree! A healer needs to listen to their patients all the time! It's their body, not the healer's! I'm glad you were assertive in that situation. Four surgeries is ridiculous. Granted, it may have hurt less, but spreading that hurt over four individual surgeries prolongs the less over time. NOPE! Another factor to consider; Human surgery costs a lot of money. Four surgeries would have doubled the expense. How do human healers not know this or take those things into consideration when consulting with their patients? (I don't get paid by procedure and we are a cashless society. We are compensated with trades that benefit the patient and Healer's Hall, usually for goods, sometime for services. Why can't human halls of healing work the same way?)

: I have fourteen children from three litters. My last litter was my largest with six pups. Let me tell you, there is NOTHING in my house breakable anymore. Pillow-fights were required curriculum in my household. If you couldn't knock a fang loose in your brothers or sisters with a well thrown pillow, you weren't doing it correctly. Sami actually lost a fang in an epic pillow fight staring my second litter of Sami, Bucky and Glenda. Glenda smacked Sami point-blank and literally knocked him semi unconscious, when he sat up, he spit out a tooth and things escalated from there. Good times in the Von Steuben home over the years. Glenda is now a Level I instructor of Lore and History at our big apprentice school and teaches little ones just a wee bit older than she was when she clobbered her brother. Sami is a blade smith and his most popular belt knife is one that resembles a weasel fang. Cool irony, right?

I love pillow fight stories . I got this story from great grandpapa Bill, my Author’s father. When Bill was a teen in 1949, he went to an SDA church school in Lodi, a boarding school for boys and girls. Over Winter vacation, Bill and five other boys were hired to stay on campus for an extra week to work off tuition and make up missing assignments.

On the first morning, they were instructed on the proper techniques of stripping floor wax, reapplying floor wax and on how to operate the big floor polisher.

The boys got the first floor of the boys dorm stripped and waxed without any problem. On the second floor they ran out of wax and Bill ran down to the basement for another 5gal tin. Only this tin looked a bit different, he found it with the stack of wax tins and thought nothing more about it. The boys dumped the entire 5 Gal of wax , spread it out with the spreaders and took a break for lunch in Bills room on the second floor.

Soon a pillow fight broke out that cascaded into the hallway with busted pillow seams spewing feathers all over the tacky wax. “Don’t worry about the feathers,” Bill assured, “They’ll buff out with the floor polishing machine.”

Famous last words, the strange tin of wax was floor varnish and those feathers were now firmly imbedded in the floor. Attempting to run the polisher on the nearly dry varnish only imbedded the polisher head into the floor as well and nearly broke one boys arm as the machine handle was wrenched from his hands and spun around wildly. It eventually stopped when the cord got wrapped around and pulled from the outlets.

So Bill had to stay over Holiday and learn how to use a floor sander to remove feathers from the floor, re wax the floor and how to read a tin to be able to discern the difference between wax and varnish. For Christmas he received a pair of new pillows filled with Dacron, not feathers.

Good morning bears! All those pillows - that was some pillow fight last night. thank you for starting it! I slept like a baby. Finally found the perfect pillow combination for the best sleep ever. If anyone is looking for a lost pillow I'm not returning any :P
