Hello and welcome! I don't chat much, but I do lurk a lot.

: I tend toward tall tales and shaggy-dog stories. Then there is my (undeserved) reputation for dressing like a circus pony or showing up to an event inappropriately attired. This stems from Subeta's VAST wardrobe and my limited understanding of human fashion or the concept of modesty. But, I'm small, fuzzy and I have a pretty tail. I love hugs and kisses and cookies.

: OOooooo...coffee! MMMMmmmm... Honestly, hot, brown, caffeinated beverages are my favorite. I do like a little cream in my coffee, but black is fine too. I like my tea with cream and sugar, or sweetened condensed milk. Anything to dunk a cookie in. Did you know that you can dunk a cookie in whiskey? Oh, yes! Really well made gingersnaps dunked in Scotch Whiskey is especially rewarding because the alcohol really brings out the bite of the ginger and pepper of the cookie. It's an explosion of gingerieness in your mouth.

: I will often start my day with a tea as soon as I wake up. There is a little alcohol stove in our bathroom where I can quickly boil up a teapot of hot water. I set up my tea ball and mug the night before with loose leaf Earl Grey so that all I have to do is wait for the hot water while I bathe and dress. For the rest of the day, at work, I drink lots of coffee. I drink tea with meals and in the evenings.

We're having a blessedly cool wet evening here. You are making me wish I didn't have to go to work tonight. I'd put the double boiler on the woodstove with some milk and brandy. A dash of nutmeg and an oatmeal raisin cookie, and the rain on my steel roof..., perfection.

: I love living in the mountains. Your description is so heart-warming. Weldon and I will often have a toddy or a brandy when it's cold. In the summer, when the cool air from the mountains above sinks into the valley, we might sit out in the kitchen garden with an ale, watch the fireflies, or listen to the thunder from a far away summer storm, or toast marshmallows in the little fire pit. I am such a romantic sap.

: Yup! That's me. You get a hug and a kiss from me for that.

It would be nice to have photographs, but I’m the only one in my tribe with a lurking device, little animals are especially sensitive to the toxic chemicals of photography and nobody in my community is comfortable having their photo taken…superstitions and all. But, drawings are culturally acceptable.
