No worries! I saw the items were in and I figured you were busy and didn't have a chance to do the news on them. I know that takes more time than the add usually so I was more than happy to post since I had the time!

- Just wanted to let you know that I've updated all of the new item revamps. I didn't make a news post because there was only one item that was not wearable prior to this (Ghostly Immaterial Shield). I figured we could just toss that in on a more substantial update.

And I agree, there's no need for a news post.

In case other folks are aware of this (I know you are, Lypsyl -- you're on top of things!), Bug has resigned from the Subeta staff. Not sure what that'll mean for the cron he set up for us. My guess is that no one's going to yank it, but no one's going to maintain it, either (for example, if and when they ever get around to changing the item rarities like they've been saying they would.)

I was very sad to hear he's leaving.

Hopefully nothing will go wrong, or change drastically for a good long time and the cron will continue to work.

, - I came across an item today that wasn't in our database. It's the Stale Cherry Pie. I don't have any information on it, but the two items before and after it were already in our database. I went ahead an added it here.

I have no idea. I don't have one and don't recognize the item (other than it looks like all those pies that are pies). Its never shown up in the should be food thread - and its a totally obvious item for that thread.

So I went back into history to see what I could find out about the Stale Cherry Pie. The cherry pie launcher was released through the "ticket shop" - old carnival type shop? I do vaguely remember the old carnival ticket currency. That was September 2006. That month there seemed to have been some mess ups with trivias - so maybe it was intended to be a trivia prize that never got released? There was also a vague reference to Area 62. There were also some genetech releases at the time, so maybe it was supposed to be one of those.

I found references to most of the items on that item directory page in Sept 06, but the stale pie is mysteriously absent.

- I've added all of the new Lamour Parlor items, but we have a lunch date, so I won't have time to add the new Zombie Den items. If someone else happens to be around and could do that plus add a new post, that would be wonderful! Otherwise I'll get to it when I get home. :D

I'm at an appointment right now but when I'm home I can do those if nobody else has done that yet.

Yes we should wait, never know what changes they will make or even if they decide to push it off for another day.

LOL imagine my surprise when I went to start a new strain and got one from last year instead. Oh well, at least its one I don't already have.

My faith in Subeta is unshattered. A Survival with broken viruses, a Luminaire with broken Mysterious Melody, a Morostide with broken ToT timers (and forums!). I've come more and more to regard this as less of a game and more of a work of performance art.

It wouldn't be a Subeta event if it all worked properly from the get-go. I'm just glad that when I returned, I lowered my expectations.
