I gave up on Neo years ago when I'd bought a year of premium for super cheap and made sure it was set to NOT auto-renew and... yep, it auto-renewed. It actually auto-renewed a whole month before it should've (had it been set to auto-renew). Absolutely ridiculous and staff never answered my ticket so I charged it back through Paypal. No issue getting my money back which was good because there was no way I could afford it at the regular price and I didn't care about premium anymore anyway!

I ended up giving away almost all of my good stuff and it was months before I got curious again and poked my head in and saw that they had just... left the premium going? I wasn't actually paying for it and I triple-checked that they hadn't changed it to auto-renew. So my account had free premium for a year though I never actually used it.

Played around with Food Club and stocks a while ago but meh... there's pretty much no playable games which is what I really miss. I used to play them for hours, especially the Hannah games. If someone ported those games I'd be down to play them lol

Well, I recently came out of hiatus, and yep, Neopets hasn't changed much since the big "Neopocalypse".

Since flash ended, there aren't many games that work anymore, most of the wearables aren't wearable, and so many things have gone to Neocash or Premium. And whatever isn't bought with real money is super overpriced. The art hasn't been updated in centuries, and there never seems to be events anymore. And I haven't checked yet, but I heard the forums are practically a mine field for censoring every word or an automatic frozen account. Yikes in other words.

It really makes me glad I found Subeta. I only go back to look at my cute pets.

I was so sad that Neo pets went down the drain - I don't understand how it could go from working and great to literal trash.. I feel like Power pets did the same thing - the art was good, the game was fun and somehow everything is over complicated, clunky, laggy and difficult.

you already had a good game - why change it/ruin it.
