I was thinking about the posts where people were saying that if they disappeared, who their back up was that knew how to contact them to make sure all was OK.

My backup was you but then you only had my sMail and email name and addie, and who in my family would know how to log in to either to check them for messages or anything similar like FB etc ... answer nobody cause I had never told them. Gazz still thinks that Subeta is Neo ... not my doing but his non-interest in sites like this.

So I thought that if I had a phone number that I could dial if I had not heard from FV in a while there would be someone at the end of the line that could tell me what was going on and she was on vacation, or ill or something.

Everyone should have someone they have given a phone number to or else have someone know what accounts you use and who to contact if the need arises.

Oh demn..... all my online friends that are on my fb/insta are from other sites 😂 and I tend to keep my phone # very secret... I barely call anybody too

Good News!!! Finally we found the right buddy for our dog Rondo (AKA Runty McGee his bassett and low rider pittie, so because his about to my knee hence his nickname), New buddy her name is Kate/ Katie Bear (RL no joke). All my dogs have nicknames. Her name was Bronx from previous owner, like seriously. We tried 3 different dogs, first not a good match. Second dog was Hannibal Lecter level, no joke. She had to have a muzzle on, so glad she did. She went crazy and attacked Rondo at the humane society/dog shelter. The muzzle on her, saved Rondo no exaggeration. A SOLID NO WAY! Third times a charm, Katie and Rondo were playing with each other in minutes. Instant best friends. Rondo doesnt like all dogs, for him to lick her face meant she is his friend.

If I could live in a place that was 70F/21C all year, I would be so happy.

But thankfully FV got details of my coma ... 2 weeks I was in it ... and head injury ... skull removed to reduce swelling. 4 months in intensive care and 4 month in rehab. That was 8 years ago next month.

Brain injury has caused more physical problems than mental. No real balance, can't stand on one leg, can't walk easily up and down a slope ... up is easier than down. Many other minor things but nothing to complain about.

I am alive and I am far better off than many people.

Rondo needed a buddy real bad, Kate plays with him until his tired. He needs the socialization and just at the end of the day a buddy. I am super happy they are hitting it off, I was really worried we wouldnt. Rondo is selective, and Kate passed the test in minutes and they start to play chase.
