I like fuzzy animals too and he knows the animals we have seen in pictures or have read about in his books. The weekend was good, I did some shopping for some wreaths i'm going to put together for friends. Other then that it's been a pretty lazy weekend.
No shame in fast food. It's still food for your family, y'know?
Maybe for the same reason my teachers in middle school had us reading stories about dogs dying and kids dying, high school teachers had us reading about suicidal teens and drug addicts, and my son's other teachers had him reading about victims of genocide? Teachers just really like traumatic stories?
Well let's hope he doesn't go back to nights anytime soon!!
I love Kohls!!! My aunt used to like working nights there too. I might spend my whole paycheck if I was working there! LOL! On Thursday I bought my daughter some new sheets there and they were 60$ but with all of the discounts I paid 28$ including tax!! I was a happy camper!!!
When I was in school I don't remember reading anything that really bothered me. Maybe it was just too long ago! :-D
I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW TOMORROW AT PETCO!!! So excited!
🌸 || || 🌸
of the things I read in school, the ones that bothered me most were The Yearling, The Red Pony, and A Separate Peace. Oh, and Bridge to Terabithia in elementary school, but that wasn't required (it was one of two options, I chose wrong...)
actually Dish is in network disputes with three of our channels so we are fighting with them lol
he is feeling better but yep making him take zicam and blankets at the ready lol
Give a flower!

It's only one time a year, thank goodness. I hope you had a great weekend hugs <3 <3
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! YAS YAS YASSSS! Good luck! hugs
Just finished setting up the outside decorations. Now gotta work on the inside. I'll give you three guesses who set it all up lol Boy that sounds good. Invite me over next time. I promise to bing over my own fork and plate lol
Hubs is working today and stressed out. The new company that bought his old company out is piling on work like there's no tomorrow so it's double fun w/ him home 24/7 lol How was the rest of your weekend?
How are you? How's your search for work going?
Oh gosh, that's awful DX I hope things slow down for him soon! It was good! Spent most of the weekend on here sending out Lumi gifts XD
I'm hoping so too. He's been in different meetings since 8 this morning and it's not over yet. That's a good way to spend the weekend. I still have the bulk of my Lumi shopping to do :D
Ugh, that doesn't sound fun at all DX Luckily it's still early in the month so you have loads of time ^0^ I'm just trying to get mine out of the way early this year.
I'm taking an assessment for a new job I can hopefully start in Jan so I'm hoping it'll take some of the burden off him being the only one getting a steady paycheck right now.
I'll be Goggling all of those. I really don't remember any books that were required reading for me. I probably knocked them out in a day if there were. I do remember my favorite author back then was Phyllis A. Whitney and the one book I remember the most is Silverhill..
Oh no that really sucks!!
That's good it's only once a year! I did chores on Saturday and watched our Seahawks lose to a crumby team. Still not over the shock of that!! :-( lol
Hubs is out putting up lights right now. I don't think he wanted to do it but our daughter wanted him to. :-) I cleaned house and made lentil bread today. I mostly cook for myself as my daughter and hubs like to eat really basic stuff. She would live on Cha Siu Bao (Chinese sweet pork muffin I get at Trader Joes) and salmon and he eats (any kind) meat and rice. Although, I make veggies for them and glare at them if they don't eat some. Come on over before I eat everything!! Wait, where are you again? :-P
Oh, I just work at Kohl's, retail. I do omni, which is picking and packing orders for either store pickup or to be shipped out. Last night I did some stocking, too. What about you?
Oh, I'm sorry to hear you had a bump. But I'm glad things are getting back on track and your Lumi is going well! Already got all your gifts?
Yes, not working with customers is amazing. It was something I hated at my previous job. My Saturday went well, the overnight team was really quick. Last night was fine, although 2 people called out, so it was just me and the leader, who had to come in because everyone else called out. I'm super exhausted now, but otherwise good. How was your weekend?
Ooh, what are your favorite animals? I tend to like cats (both big and small), dogs, wolves, foxes, and otters the most. Is your son old enough to go to school? I'm glad your weekend went well. Making wreaths sounds like fun! Are they the tulle ones or the pine ones? Lazy weekend are the best ones. ^^
Haha yeah, Kohl's has a lot of good items. I already have too many clothes (I already bought some this season). xP Ooh, that's a good deal for those sheets! We have a lot of cute ones; I got some flannel ones for Christmas last year, they have penguins on them. c:
Sounds like a good combo! It's the sort of weather to bundle up with soup and hot cocoa. Or tea. Coffee. Warm stuff. xP
Penguins? My daughter would go nuts over those!! She loves anything Panda or Penguin. :-D And Libra related - I bought her a Libra necklace from Kohl's online and have it hidden from her for Christmas. I love buying new clothes too!!
All of that sounds absolutely delicious. I didn't know Trader Joe's sold Cha Siu Bao. I have to check it out. What section do I find it in?
It's in the frozen foods section with the Asian food. She also likes the Chicken Shu Mai and I love the cilantro chicken wontons. Although I can't eat them anymore. Soy n gluten :-(
that's impressive that you read so fast - I thought I read fast when I was young, but I still couldn't finish some of the doorstopper books they assigned us in one day 😆 those ones I mentioned were all pretty short, though.
