Worked a short 'lil shift this morning.. this afternoon I've been crocheting and watching TV. I'm making some homemade sausage buns as well to go with dinner! We just went on a nice long walk too. Nice to get a bit of fresh air and get the legs moving. My motivation to do strength workouts has completely disappeared now that I know the gyms are re-opening next week xP

My taste is still lacking, though...which can be a bit frustrating, haha. Yeah, I think my dad is boycotting it because of all the political elements or something like that. Hmm, I dunno? I got my flu shot, so it shouldn't be that...and it doesn't exactly feel like a cold in the sense of runny nose. We'll see what the next few days brings...I'm hoping to feel well enough to be able to volunteer again on Saturday.
Yeah...I stay away from politics anyways...but my dad is kind of...vocal about his. xP I'm just glad I didn't have to watch football this year...so boring to me. It's bad enough when he watches golf.

Ooh, sausage buns. Sounds yummy! I wanted to make scones this week, but being sick left me with no energy, that and we didn't get a new oven until Saturday. Maybe I'll make cookies for Valentine's Day if I'm feeling better. And yeah, figuring out what to do can be hard. xP But not as difficult as figuring out what you're going to eat for the week before you go to the grocery store, haha. My mom and I tackled that today.

Yum, scones! My buns turned out great. I'm going to make Almond Cookies later this week. I'm taking part in a 52-week baking challenge.. this is my second year. So I'm constantly whipping up some kind of baked item! I HATE meal planning. I don't mind the shopping, but I hate deciding what we're going to have!

Well with the ice storm yesterday, it didn't look like any ice on steps. so hubby takes the trash out and guess what? yep, slipped on the steps and fell. nothing broke but he is sore all over. so I will try my best to take care of him.
