No idea why the update (which didn't change that thing that's the problem) messed this up. But maybe its because the browsers who don't understand the newest thing were relying on an older thing that did get changed.

All right so... you don't need to know any of the following info, this is just if you're curious, because... what an intriguing glitch.
So, we have tracked it a bit further - the issue wasn't in our source code or your browser. It's a problem in the step that takes our source code and converts it into plain JavaScript for the browser to run. We use a tool called "babel" which is supposed to make output that accounts for varying browser support for different features, which is why this did not break for you in the past despite your browser not supporting the particular syntax we used.
I'm glad I was able to push out a hotfix for this particular incident! is now looking deeper into this and he is going to fix it properly at its source, since it's very important for babel to be working correctly (as we can see from what happened today!)

ah interesting! So the translation service that's supposed to make everything understandable for everyone isn't getting it quite right.

I looked and didn't see anyone else report it yet, sorry if you're already aware or don't want to hear about it until the feedback thread, but I just wanted to mention that in night mode in the wardrobe now, in the text box for filtering items by name, the text and the background of the box are both white so when you type it's invisible. Kinda minor but also far from ideal haha. I absolutely love that there is a night mode in the wardrobe now though; thank you!
This looks the same for me on both my desktop and phone. Don't think it's a browser thing but desktop=Opera v72.0.3815.200 (up to date), phone=Chrome for Android v85.0.4183.101

All new.subeta.net pages are still blank white for me (with the console error [tt]SyntaxError: missing declaration after 'import' keyword[/tt]) under Pale Moon 28.14.1 (one month old, SpiderMonkey-based, 100% feature support through ES8).
Thanks - is working on fixing the issue behind this. Hopefully won't be long now!
Upgrading to v28.15.0 might work if you don't want to wait, but might not if it only guarantees support through ES8. I do want to make it clear that the website is intended to work for your browser, we have a known issue with our transpiler which we are working to resolve ASAP.
