I love plants! When I was younger I didn't like them at all, but now I very much like to have a lot of plants, I think I have around 20ish plants at the moment. My favorite is probably an english ivy, they're very easy and I love the way it looks. That and a fern, that fern was part of another plant I got, and I had to cure it back to health because it got too much of sunlight, so it kind of grew on me because I needed to help him back to life. I also got this plant as a housewarming gift, I have no idea what it's called, but it's grows super fast, it's kinda like a pothos (which I got with it together) but smaller leaves and it looks gorgeous in my room :)

An orchid, some cat grass, a lucky bamboo plant, 2 succulents, and an airplant. Ripperonie to my basil plant though qwq

I have a pretty dubious history with plants (it doesn't help that I like to experiment on them in ways that are...sometimes less than compatible with life) but lately I've had pretty good luck with succulents. My Thanksgiving cactus, which I've had for a couple years now, is even blooming. My parents had one of these things that they managed to keep barely alive throughout my entire childhood but I never saw one bloom before!

I'm so bad at keeping plants alive, which is a fact about myself that I am determined to change! I do, however, have a reasonably healthy cactus and a somehow-not-dead-yet haworthia.

I also did a few root-to-leaf experiments during early summer this year. I successfully regrew the leaves on a discarded carrot top and grew back the roots on some parsley. I also had a failed attempt at growing leaves on a radish top, after unwittingly dehydrating it. Who knew radish tops could be so thirsty? XD

I have 3 plants: an aloe vera that i need to split because there are too many in the pot... not sure how it happened. Then i have a kalanchoe with pink flowers which i'm trying not to kill. it has shutes on it and at the root/base. i read i'm supposed to remove these shutes (or what they're called) and re-pot them in spring. Then i'm trying to grow a geranium - i think it's a geranium and not the other one that looks like a geranium. i killed a purple basil and another herb plant.... they did end up in my food, but sigh.. the basil smelled so nice and tasted so good ToT

A rubber plant, a catnip plant, too many spider plants, and several succulents that I struggle to keep alive and healthy. Winter has been unkind, and my house doesn’t have south-facing windows :(

I have about 30, a 6-7 years old weeping fig is my favourite (my boyfriend always teases me about it because why would anyone want a tree inside :D but who wouldn't? :D) I also have: an overgrown devil's ivy (Epipremnum aureum, formely Pothos aureum and is also called pothos as far as I know - my native language is not english) a ficus microcarpa ginseng, it was a gift spathiphyllums, an Aechmea fasciata or silver vase which I successfully propagated. I got it from my grandmother so it's important to keep it alive/propagate an orchid which I don't remember the name of, but it prefers cool temps as it lives in high mountains within the tropical zone - I got it from a botanist in the botanical garden where I spent my obligatory professional practice during university an umbrella palm which is not a palm at all (Cyperus alternifolius) and practically impossible to overwater ...just to name a few :)

It's been a little while since I went through and counted, but my last count was 43 containers.

I think my favorite atm is my big bird's nest fern. I have two, but this one is just in a really great spot and she is GORGEOUS.

And I will always love my raven zz, even if it hasn't put out any new growth in fifteen months.

I have a parade rose my ex gave me, and a cactus from my mom. I have no idea how they're still alive.

I had a bad track record too, to every fellow black thumber out there I can not recommed pothos enough! It is practically impossible to kill, looks pretty, is available in all kind of different shades of green, with variegation or without and I just love it! <3 (just water it when it looks a bit droopy, doesn't need a lot of light and grows beautifully)

I also have a Dieffenbachia (which is finicky for me and just surviving....hasn't grown in a year....will try to replant it in spring...we'll see) and a lovely ficus elastica with variegated leaves that unfortunately had mealybugs last summer and is still recovering. I LOVE it though. It will also be replanted this spring and I hope it will have a better year.....don't we all need that ;)

I also have a little baby money tree I unfortunately overwatered once and half of it died...I just have no luck with succulents -_-

I'm not so good with plants and tend to kill them pretty quickly, but I got a few "grow your own aloe vera" kits and 2 out of 3 of the kits still have some live plants growing, which I consider a victory. It's only been about 6 months though, so we'll see... >.>

I also have some similar kits for chives that I want to start this spring/summer and eventually would like to have a little herb garden.

I have acquired thirty some house plants since buying our house about a year ago. I have always wanted plants but really couldn't in our apartment. So far my favorites have been my ZZ plant (grows fast with almost no effort, likes to be very dry and doesn't need too much light) and my rabbit foot's fern (grows legs like a tarantula that come out to grip the pot, juxtaposed with beautiful delicate foliage).

I think my parents think I grow other... stuff but I really just love houseplants.

My favorite plant is an aloe- but I no longer have it in my possession. A few months ago it started looking very sad, so I gave it to my green-thumbed sister. I have a spider plant and a peace lily now, and the peace lily is definitely my favorite of the two!

Oh boy. The succulents, and my good ole cacti, for sure my favorite houseplants. They’re just so cool

I have over 40 species so it's hard to pick a favorite lol But I'd say my orchids are my current obsession since I'm starting to get the hang of caring for them. Have had a few rebloom multiple times!

Currently I have tomatoes, blueberries, strawberries, lavender outside on my patio. They're actually thriving, to my surprise. I've always had a black thumb up until this year.

Oh! This is SO exciting to me because I just got my first little houseplant; it's an aeonium sunburst! It's a succulent that just looks kind of like a pinwheel (it's also called a 'copper pinwheel' due to this), but it's so beautiful! Green with yellow and pink on the 'leaves'. :) I named her Blossom and she's currently sitting in my dining room near the window to get a little bit of sun. The pot I have her planted in is a little big, so I'd like to go get a smaller succulent or two to be her pot-mates! Hahaha.

I am not at all well-versed in plants or the care of them, so I decided to start with something that is supposed to be easy. I'm still super nervous I'm going to kill them, but apparently succulents are pretty hardy so... fingers crossed!

i have this gigantic philodendron i got on craigslist like three years ago - she goes through phases where she does not do well, but she always bounces back. I love all my lil plants tho! my neon pothos is a couple of years old and is thriving, and i have this insane species-unknown succulent that defies the laws of nature (i've run several experiments seeing how long I could go without watering it and always give up around month five).

God i have SO many, I moved in with my boyfriend six months ago and he had just about the same amount as me. let's see if i know the english words for all of them lol. First of all, we're growing bell peppers and chilis this year and we have SO many. My favorites (of my plants) are my moneytree and my monstera. I've raised the moneytree from a little twinleafed plantlet, and the monstera is just absolutely huge and beautiful. Then I have a Dieffenbachia from my sister-in-law - it's doing okay but i'm kinda scared of the strychnine. So many pilea, all from the same grandpa pilea. An 8-year-old kalanchoe that hasn't bloomed in years, but still grows tremendously. A scrawny little string-of-pearls that's still recovering from a really nasty pest infestation that killed off most of it. A little palm that just refuses to die. Children of my moneytree. A tall lanky peruvian groundcherry that I'm hoping will produce some fruits this year. Some spiderplants I took when I was working an emergency daycare last year. Aloes of different healths. I'm not good with them. An orchid, the first orchid I've ever had bloom again. This uh hanging bastard I got from a friend, I don't know the name of it, but it's doing really well. And finally a cactus that I really can't tell if it's doing well or if it's dead.
