Has anyone gotten challenges from whatshisname on the dance floor? I've only gotten one and I've been going to the dance floor every time.

Sigh. Spent this afternoon throwing out food that went bad or we can't trust because the motor on the refrigerator is going and I have to keep defrosting the freezer to keep it cold enough and I didn't do it soon enough this time because I wasn't feeling well. Going to need a new refrigerator. This one is nearly 20 years old but stuff we need to spend money on just keeps adding up (plus the waste of money on the food I had to toss).

I hate wasting food. But I have gotten good deals on appliances in the past at yard and estate sales. Esp when they are plugged in and you can check if they're working well.

I think right now yard and estate sales are out of the picture. None going on yet. I don't think I can nurse it much longer with the temperatures rising. The hotter the kitchen gets worse it struggles to keep cool.

Not that today you'd know it was in the 70s a few days ago and will be nearly 80 in less than a week because I awoke to 4 inches of snow. Our poor trees. Their limbs are so weighed down. Couldn't cover all the plants so hoping most will be okay. High today is going 44 with windchill in the 30s.

I think this year may end up being the biggest haul of tokens I've gotten during Masq. Anyone else feel the same?

How many trinkets for the Lounge and Mehgerie do you have currently?

Yeah, the event is a bit longer than usual and I think on average the dance times are a bit quicker, especially with the Mystery dance on a separate timer.

So far this event (saving separate from my vault until the end) I've gotten Lounge Trinket 1,896 in stock Steamworks Trinket 1,737 in stock

I have more than 10k each saved from previous years in my vault though. I could not dance for years and still have enough to buy what I want lol

I've been really happy with the mystery dance feature, really helps me out when the site is lagging and I don't have the energy to fight through it lol. I still have some items to grab up in the Lounge but I'm buying from past years Steamwork shop now!

I couldn't begin to tell you! lol Haven't kept up and gave away quite a bit and still have a lot. Love the mystery dance! It gave me a bunch of bags and other stuff. Very fun. The lag was bad in the beginning tho, and it didn't show I'd changed my HA for the longest. Right now its going well tho. I do wish whatshisname had shown up a lot more often. Only saw him once.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the trinket bags. Not been keeping up with those.

At this rate, I'll be able to buy some items for myself AND get Menagerie items to be gifts for friends.

I like getting quest points from mystery dance too since I've really slacked off on that aspect of the site.

Yeah, after the rare csc from the Mystery Dance the quest points are the best. Up until this year I'd been slacking too.

Our weather got weird here too I had to cover my precious plants that I couldn't put in the garage, 31 outside right now. :(

I've made a whole heck of a lot but I've been shopping sporadically so I don't have a good count. However, I still think I won't be able to get all the food items for my gourmand pet. Oddly enough. But I'm not as worried about that.

Guess who is home sick... me.. Had to do a covid test to, just to be sure (already vaccinated, but ok). My body gave up on my after working so much and hardly any free time. Tired, headache, sore and just so tired... My boos found i was not sick enough... long story short i am home until monday. Taking all the rest needed and blocked work on phone, etc.

I covered a couple of plants. Don't have the ability to cover any more than that. Will again tonight and then should be fine. Just hope my mom's peony survive. My mom waited a long time to plant them.

In the last hard cold we had I lost my favorite plant, my Oleander that I planted the first week I moved here. I don't remember exactly when that was, but I know it had to be at least twenty years ago. It was so pretty. Hope your Mom's peonies will be ok.
