I hate the heat, too, but I live in East Tennessee, as does my family, so I'm stuck with it! When it's over 70°, it's too hot, over 80° is miserable! Last summer we had weeks over 90°. My husband and I have talked about, when it's just us and we're not looking after parents, we will head a bit further north! I grew up higher in the mountains, and even though it was still the Southeast, we rarely used A/C and the nights were generally cool. I do miss that!

Oh, I'd love to live in the mountains! If/when I retire, I'd like to move to NH or ME and live in the mountains there. I'd go hiking daily.

I did a lot of it growing up. I miss those cool Blue Ridge Mountains! I love spring and autumn the most, when you need a sweater, but can still get away with shorts and thick socks. I lived in sweater/shorts/hiking boots for most of those seasons!

The Autumn and Winter danced just before Dawn. In complete silence in the pitch black. They performed the Dark Morris. Jack Frost showed up! You could feel it in your toes, nipping at your nose. Set the fire alight a 5am. The kettle whistling it's warm offerings.

Your HA is looking might fine! I think we are in stage "what was corona?" The kids in school are back to normal. One or two wear masks sometimes. I want to wear one ALL day in class, but I limit myself to new and public places (such as, when a teacher steps out of a different classroom and they need a sub, me, there)

It's hot. But the a/c is making my allergies act up, the doctor gave me new medicine to try, said I could take up to 4 a day "with no consequences" the pharmacist said NO WAY, no more than 2. Whenever doctors say "no consequences" anymore I think "yeah, to YOU". :P

I am tempted (only in my head though) to strong arm the kids as say you will be held back, but I know this is not true. Even in my sister's day 60 years ago they didn't hold kids back. That's how she made it to 7th grade without knowing how to read!

Everyone is having wardrobe problems. ">Check this out I love the fawn skin. I wore that once for a year, before we could take them on and off.

We have a rule in my district that parents can only deny a student being held back once. After that, it's up to the teacher. So far, I've never regretted holding a student back.

I also miss the hugs. And just talking to people! I let a door-to-door salesman give his whole sales pitch the other day just to talk to someone. Didn't buy anything, but the experience was nice. Talking on Zoom or through text is just not the same as in person talking.

I wish there were more waves of Vesnali items.

A bit better today. Every now and then I have to lay down and rest though.
