I've been out of college long enough to see that spring break is in March, so instead of a month I have the weekend to study for the license exam. Also, all chapters of the classroom assignments are open during this time, I can either correct my past grades or try to get ahead.

No excuses, things need to get done.

[Edit]In making necessary changes I nearly drained my own funds. I'm glad though, that the debt left over was a mere $270, rather than several thousand had we spent the funds from government agencies. Fortunately I can count on the support of my family offset the costs. This peace of mind can allow me to focus on studying the driver's manual before making an attempt during spring break for the license exam.

Update: This was the last straw! My Wi-Fi is not working as it shoild, none of my devices even detect it. I tried editing the name to English to manually search, to no avail. What bugs me most is this is at a very inconvenient time, right in the middle of the semester, which could mean a lot of difficulty to work on all my assignments. I may have ro look into an alternative to mobile network connections, and switch to my only other option. I supppse a satellite connection could be more reliable, but I need to research the cost. I may also trade down to a flip phone, enough with this overly complicated and utterly disposable "smart"phome.

At least the solution didn't cost me more than a phone call and some technical handiwork on my part. I remembered that changing devices on my carrier is easier if the new device is inside their network. So I changed to my mother's phone and basically got a free upgrade. I won't be on much more today, since I need to reconfigure my hotspot and update my other device to accept.

I have taken a look at the homework section of the Cengage site and no other chapters are open. I'll put that to rest for the weekend, and focus on studying for the license exam.

I may have more difficulty dealing with a problem that in my haste cost me all my data allowance. I put my laptop to update, and didn't notice it ate up the remainder. I can't purchase additional to use, so I'm left with a slowed connection.

I won't be on much for a while, only my classes and Zoom meetings take priority. In the meantime, I'll begin studying for the license exam. Don't need luck, I have twenty years of experience to back me up.

Three weeks, to make time I'm focusing on my duties IRL. While I finished the process at my friend's house, I made some progress on my homework doing the assignments that cannot be done on my table.

Studying the handbook allows me to anticipate the the questions that throw off people taking the exam.

It didn't, but I should limit my activity to the question sections only. I also scheduled an appointment for a license exam, which is on May 26...

[Edit] I tinkered around, and saw that only using directly on my phone could any browsing or activity is possible. That's good enough, I need only correct assignments that are questions.

And I learned renewing my passport is less costly than I thought. I've no need for the book, and unless I want it faster this won't be more than $50. This will be my goal for spring break.

In light of the... outcome of the now junked plan, I'm going to do some independent hands on related to my course. It seems a front suspension of an old Suburban lies in my backyard. I believe I can dismantle this completely. And while perusing a scrapyards, I came across both inner fenders for my little car. Also I spied two old cars with intact oilpans. That will have to wait until April.

Still weaving the process of closing or updating accounts of my deceased mother. Whatever time allows on any given day.

You still hanging out or has summer ended? We are all in the throws of Passover (Spring) cleaning.

I'm here, sort of. Had a COVID shot yesterday and am having a pretty strong reaction to it.

Had I known about the timeframe for appointments, I should have done this in January to get a day during spring break. The hardest part will be getting someone to take me to the location for the exams that day and time.

Bloody boards, some don't even update for several hours!

Commemoration is in a few weeks... It'll be the first without my mother. I'm not certain how this will unfold.
