I didn't get the first strain on the first day, it just sort of started and stopped. I am glad though, I really don't like the selections anymore. There were cute way back. Now they are all just gross.

I have 1800 events. On the event page there is a "clear all" option. It clears from 1 to 5 each time. This is madness!

I'll be experimenting with HAs that lack a human component. Or at least until my creativity blows out.

A 3lb deadblow hammer and 1/2in torque wrench now have been added to my tool kit, I had need for the hammer last weekend when I needed to remove a rusted on rim off its spindle to change its brake pads. The torque wrench to tighten lug nuts everytime I need to work on tires, now that I understand proper torque prevents some problems later on.

I best look up the manual for my 3DS, I'm certain the pedometer can be recalibrated. It reads right, but I still think it doesn't read me right.

: I like the updates you have been posting regarding your automotive training, they fascinate me. And while I know very little about automobiles, My Author Mark is very adept at working on them and has maintained his family vehicles for over 50 years. He can rebuild gear-changers, motor-thingies, and electrificators.

The last job he did was to make the automobile pee its dark oozy-fluids out and replace them with Geritol olive oil. (I think it was Geritol) I got to help hold the nuts. On his automobile, he has to remove a wheel, lift the car up on Jackie Stands, and then take off half of the underside just to reach the pee-screw. He does many many incantations of magical words, writhing on his back in the throes of his sorcery. The pee-screw required many many incomprehensible words to be yelled and it finally succumbed to a magic wand called a Breaking Bar with a loud cracking noise and spasms of gasping.

The dark oozing fluids must have been possessed by some dark magic because they escaped the large catch basin and attempted to flow down the driveway. Apparently kitty-litter is the antidote for escaped possessed dark oozing fluids. The proper method of obtaining kitty litter is to run frantically into the garage, trip over all the boxes and crates multiple times, grab the first kitty litter tray and carry the entire thing to the back of the automobile and dump 10 pounds of kitty-litter (and kitty sdrut) in the path of the approaching oozy-fluids.

The whole ceremony was over in five minutes, whereupon the automobile was refitted with all the removed parts (except for three nuts that must have magically reproduced in my paw, because we couldn't see where they came from), lower the automobile, and pour 5 quarts of beautiful golden olive oil into the big hole. Dripping oil on the part of the motor-thingie makes a lot of smoke, this is apparently part of the ceremony meant to keep evil away from the automobile for the next three thousand miles.

My author tells me a tragic story where he performed the kitty-litter ceremony four times in one day on one particularly old 1957 Chevy. Apparently, the oozy-fluids escaped unnoticed, then he forgot the pee-screw, then he cross-threaded the filter, then he tripped over the dish-basin holding the oozy-fluids from his father's car. he said that it took 120 lbs of kitty-litter to contain the 20 quarts of fluids he had emptied into the driveway that day. He made four trips to the store for litter and for replacement oil that day and used up all his earnings from his after-school job and his allowance from his parents and had to get a loan from his younger brother for $5.00 (which of cost him $10.00 in usury fees.)

It sounds like you're doing a whole lot better at your lessons than my Author did back in High School. Just remember that kitty-litter, (sdrut and all) is your best friend in any automobile repair situation. Be sure to study your spells and incantations with all due diligence too. (I'm sure there is some special magic in kitty sdrut).

Yeah, my worst mistakes yet are breaking a drainplug for a non-running car (dodged that bullet!) and missing one assignment...my first "F" since I resumed college.

I recall some choice events that parallel the little spill there. I was coming to help a brake job, and noticed the guys struggling to install the brake calipers. I took a peek after asking about some irreverent tangent, and saw the brake pads were on upside down...I can't remember the colorful metaphors used that time. I have the advantage of prior experience when I began. This semester I observe a different path, I feel this may not be my strong point, I still would want an understanding, I know one system can affect the rest, directly and otherwise.

[edit] I read and reread posts... I saw something that disturbs me. That kind of fascination can draw the wrong kind of attention. The kind who would intentionally sabotage their car to justify coming in, potentially wasting my time for customers who have real problems. Its bad enough to be ignored, than to appeal for some BS.

I get so annoyed at the phone games. I just can't get past some levels for days and days. Maddening. Every day or so they should issue a "get out free" pass or something. Playing to get frustrated??? Yeesh.

& I am uninspired this year. I wish they would do ONE not gross one for those of us who are not into sickugly or are just faint-hearted... :/
