Thank you. Shifted away from purple and pink for the Sabbath. Our lockdown lifted and we will be entertaining and feeding our grandkids (and their parents) for Friday and Saturday. I missed them so!

lol I thought for sure it was good news, seeing how diligent you are, and that you are there to increase your knowledge, as well as your evident love of automobiles. I wonder about the reason some of the others are there.... I mean, why take a course in something, if you are not going to apply yourself? Makes very little sense.

The exams for a driver's license is fsr easier compared to the struggle I went through to regain eligibility. This time on the first try!

I agree, those who stand around during shop, sometimes distracted. But I also know they're on student aid, the consequences can be serious. I pay out of pocket, partially financed by family, I owe it to them to excell. Theyre more forgiving anyway.

I have a few hours before needing to go out for lunch. A cold weekend is coming, best I wear extra layers.

[edit] This session was exceptional when it came to student output. Except for one, all jobs gave good results. In my case the balancing was easy once you get your hands on the machine. I also branched out to patch a tire. It handled much better going home. But I realized that in my haste, I forgot to sign out.

thank ya! I usually like making new HA's, but I am running out of ideas....lol I just play around for hours, or days....sometimes weeks, finding things that I like together.

I can tell one is, the only woman in the class shows enthusiasm when in shop. If I'm not to be best in class, I'm certain she would. That said, I'm focusing just as much. Our instructor stresses to not put too much attention on other students, just your own progress.

I have this weekend to correct and turn in the week's assignments. Minimum 90s.

I have many saved, I take one and add some new things sometimes. I am a hoarder, even of outfits ;) Subeta obviously has people like me in mind, that NEED to have room for 500 outfits to save! ;-)

How is your weekend?

- Awesome! It is nice to have another who is just as committed, if for no other reason than to be able to talk shop, or bounce ideas off one another - to someone besides the instructor. I bet that makes the instructor feel good as well - having at least a few who are understanding the material, and applying themselves.

Wouldn't you know it, I spent an hour correcting an assiassignment. And when I finished, I noticed I was on the wrong chapter of book! I need to look through my notes to find whether I had made a written copy of the current. Plus the online portion to compare.

Thats' a bummer about the wrong chapter! Maaan! Spring Break is not that far off. Passover (sort of around the time of Easter) is not my happy place but I am hopeful this year will be okay.

They saved ONE of my outfits and I had a panic because I didn't see all the other pages! But I bookmarked them so found them that way. My Heart! hehehe

I tend to agree. I can remember having competitions with other students, and it created a healthy rivalry, and we each tried that much harder to do our best. My best friend and I competed even through grad school, and graduated as co-valedictorians. (well, I should say top spot, because grad school doesn't have valedictorian status...lol) Some do well with competition, others do not. We each learn our own way, and that is just fine. To each his own, in this big world. :) [edit] should have said, summa cum laude

I will retake my assignments now to free up any prospective time tomorrow. My friend will spend the day with his lady, so mine go to another friend to share my coffee ice cream and keep him from defeating me in Mario kart. I also have a few gifts for his nieces and nephew. I'll keep the Jack n Coke for after coming home. Thora and Lizzie will still be here then.

It'll have to wait, the snowstorm hit hard. Just another day to me... desire is irrelevant, I'm old and obsolete.

So, I'll spend the day correcting my homework, and start the nest chapter if I can.
