..the rollerskating i did was with my bestfriend Ellen Berryman!! She skateboarded and i rollerskated with her...

She would ride side by side with me as i swept a skateboard forward..then she would meet up along side it and do a handstand ONTO it leaving HER board behind..i know she JUST started skating again recently . She won Worlds Freestyle Championships twice in a row..was the ONLY one skating barefoot(over an inch of callouses!! )JUst recently she won her place in the Skateboard Hall Of Fame!!! HERE SHE IS!!

She also is friends with snowboarder Shaun White! The HUGE thrill for me to see her again onscreen..her boarding moves are on the championships videos..but here she is looking exactly the same. HAHA we havent aged a bit hahahah

She lives in the mountains near me and my girls would LOVE to meet her!! If you could i would LOVE to have you watch the several minute long induction...it would mean alot to me.

For her wedding i gave her all the fabrics for her Birthday and made her dress for her Wedding present!!(we couldnt afford much in the early 80'S!!) As excited as i was to find this i would love to share with you a little of my past here in California. SOOOOOO...please watch so you can meet my wonderful friend!!

That happens a lot. I used to write down all the things I wanted to do and then had the satisfaction of crossing them out. Then I just wrote the things I DID do. NOw I don't write. Takes up too much time LOL

She is a good little kitten. I REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY want her to not get pregnant before I can have her spayed. I lost a couple like that :( They were too young. I was reading a book about that, by Mark Manson. Different attitude than usual but a very interesting perspective and one I often wondered about.

I looked up John and Emily. Their girls have normal names! So unique! LOL (I saw afterward you are not a fan hehehe) It is certainly a lovely place here yup yup. :)

It is wonderful that you could help your friend, even though you couldn't actually do the repairs. I am sure he appreciated the help. Thanks for the token shop ping!

ya i do have some of her skating it is online..i will post it if i find it. I LOVE iceskating too on TV it is my strongest favorite of the Olympics! Next i love the freestyl e snowboarding!! It is strange watching the competitions with no audience though.

I also worry about that with our littlest barn cat, Daisy. She is still so tiny, even tho she has put on Winter weight, and hair growth. She was the runt of litter, and just did not grow much. But it is getting that time again, so we shall see. Our vet we have on staff will occasionally do a spay or neuter, but he is one vet taking care of thousands of animals on the ranch, so his time is limited. :( We don't have another vet within 100 miles of us, so it is what it is, unfortunately.

Hugs! Without my noticing, it's bedtime... ugh. work. LoL Everyone is in shutdown but Special Education. Nice for the parents. Hard on the teachers with small children, who DO NOT have school or preschool.

Husband is against bringing her in, but she is so afraid of the other cats. They all bully her. Meanies.

Another fine Sunday spent with friends...

We played a few games...some didn't turn out as expected, and our habitual Mario Kart tourney ended in a tie for first place, me and the friend. They were generous to offer seafood soup for lunch, and even offered me a gift. They gave me their copy of Super Smash Brothers, since they already had a digital copy on their Switch.

I came home to an empty house, my brother must still be on old habits. I may as well get used to it.

Our advantage is Sunday being the only day all of us have time off. With some exceptions I tend to spend that day with at least one.

It's not cold much here anymore, except after sunset. Right now its colder inside than out, so I may open my windows and let the air in.

Rough coming home to an empty house. My son is still in quarantine from his trip to Brazil, but soon he will be out and about. It was strange when it was just me and my husband. But some grandchildren live next door, we share a basement so they often pop in.

So sick of C-19. I am beginning to repress it, I forget my mask in school... Nice that you enjoyed your snow day. Winter (cold and rain) hit this week and it helps me remember how much I love all the other seasons :)

I've been in another bout of spic and span mode, cleaning out the shelves of my kitchen and dining room. Quite a few tossing of old spices and jars of unidentifiable things.

Heyyy! Sorry for kind of falling behind on life. I'm spending a week or so with the Dude and have honestly spent a lot of time just resting and sleeping. Helping my sister homeschool three of her kids and an additional older one really kicked the snot out of me. I should be back to normal sometime next week! :D

Those pics make me cringe! I just keep seeing all those kids who came through the ER with head injuries, after skateboarding accidents. She sure was awesomely talented to have done those stunts! And barefoot too! WOWZA!
